Non league footy has changed over the years. I remember saying to my eldest lad a few years ago that imo a lot of the players are probably more dedicated to the game as a lot of it is part time and to keep fitness, training and keep an outside job going at the same time takes dedication. Leagues like national league now are predominantly full-time now and are a good competitive standard. Years ago when carlisle dropped into what was the conference only about half the teams could afford to remain full-time. Unfortunately now once a player 'drops down' it very unusual for them to get back.

Only exception being I think very recently was a lad Owen Moxon who was at Annan part time now at carlisle and doing well. Think it helped the Annan manager being a carlisle player for years too.

A number of people credit the players at Arbroath in the same way. Could be full time but prefer it to be part time. Arbroath did well on that model last season.

Chelsea 1-1 Spurs, out of the blue and controversy after what looked like a foul to Chelsea before the build up to the goal.

Getting tasty now.

68 mins.

Chelsea 2-1 Spurs, the games certainly came to life in the second half.

Chelsea steal possession, catch Spurs light at the back, boom, goal.

78 mins.

Chelsea 2-2 Spurs, never seen that coming.

HARRY KANE, what a player.

Spurs, with Kane & Son, always have a chance but really didn't create enough to deserve anything from the game.

Spurs could have had an idiot sent off at the end, grabbed a wee guy by hair, dragging him to the ground.

Chelsea will be gutted.

95 min.

PS Managers almost fighting at the end, Tuchel grabbed Conte's hand, didn't let go, it all kicked off.

Both red carded.

Final score, Liverpool 1-1 Palace, just one of them nights for Liverpool, Palace defended well, worked really hard, scored and missed another great chance.

Nothing really fell for Liverpool, final passes a smidgen off, attempts at goal just the wrong side of the post.

Being down to 10 men for over half an hour didn't help but self inflicted so no sympathy for that moment of madness.

Ach well, that's fitba.
