Oh to live in a fantasy world like this 🙈🙈🙈

Plenty scum and vermin masquerade as St Mirren fans- and racist and bigoted chants have plagued us over the years ( just ask Ruud Gullit & VVD)

Alas,  there is poison in EVERY fanbase and we are absolutely no exception to this

The OF are no better or no worse than anyone else 🤷🤷

Closet Green Vermin Scum FC/Blue Vermin Scum International Franchise FC supporter in my opinion! :P:P:P

OF? The mask is slipping!

Not at all.

How many times have you told us that no longer exists since Rangers died in 2012?

The current Celtic have reached agreement with TheRangers to keep the Old Firm trademark - much to the chagrin of Celtic supporters.  As it now annoys both sets, I’ve decided to keep using it.

If St Mirren finish higher than 6th there is not one person directly associated with the club that will not be hoping that we can gain from an arse cheek winning the Scottish cup final.

Ah. So you’re ITK!   can’t beat that!  )

Our club posted a huge loss last set of accounts.

We desperately need to recoup as much money as possible.

If you and your merry band wish to take a moral stance (assuming we do achieve a UEFA spot on the back of the scenario described) then you sell your property in Chingford

I don’t own a property there

and write a cheque for John Needham to deposit in the clubs bank account and tell him that the club must not accept the scraps from the arse cheeks table.

i don’t wish to buy a club.  Why don’t you? You’ve got plenty bread.

He will laugh you out of town.

It’s not me that’s the clown

Most Saints fans will be hoping that Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs get scudded in the league games against the arse cheeks as again that potentially gives us a better chance if we can buck the trend and beat those two Glasgow sides.

At EURO 96 did you cheer when Englands Seaman let a goal in against the Netherlands at Wembley?

You’ve really lost the plot.

Just so I’m clear. Are you suggesting any of my posts were abusive?

Of course, not!

But your post was as fruit-loopy as the Albanian baker’s.

All made up, off-topic shite just because you dislike my opinion.

I hope this helps?  :)

That is beyond hypocritical coming from from a bonafide Quisling like your good self who cuddles up to Westminster and the London centric establishment. Talking about yourself as a “Londoner” not only because you happen to live in the London area, but like it’s some sort of badge of honour. A badge you proudly wear above any notion of Scottishness.

Of course I don’t know any of the above as fact, it’s simply what I perceive from your postings.

I bet you say that about all economic migrants!  :)

living in Jersey is further from Scotland than London, so I guess you’re the more craven turncoat?

I don’t deny some Saints fans may also be scum or vermin.  I’m arguing against ME sinking to that level.  You make your own choice.

Ha ha. The Quisling bit was a wee bit of intentional hyperbole on my part for dramatic effect. 🤣

However, on a serious note my beef if I have any on that score is nothing to do with the fact that you moved away from Scotland. As you’ve pointed out, that would be ridiculous given I did the very same thing. My issue is with the way you talk about Scotland or to be more specific the way you talk down Scotland, usually at same time waxing lyrical about the centre of the universe that you believe London to be.

I see you as a fully paid up member of the Scotland is to wee, to stupid etc gang.

Still, there are things we agree on on the board. National pride and obsessions with the old firm just aren’t two of them.

I’d love to see an example of the highlit bit!

Given that I’ve spent a lifetime guiding people in Scottish hills and (for the dozen pre-Covid years) drove a bus round the country waxing lyrical about every neuk and cranny (including Paisley Abbey, Love Street and the new grun).

Sorry I should have been more clear. I wasn’t referring to the geographical and architectural beauty of Scotland (only a complete idiot would deny that). I was referring more to its political capability and ability to stand on its own feet.

My opinion of the SNP is swayed by experience and knowledge of other Nationalist movements.  I understand why parts of the UK feel neglected - and Scotland is no worse off than other places distant from the centre of population, economic and political power… which happens to be a left-leaning, Labour voting city.

From Jersey you post stuff in support of the SNP.  Does that bar me from offering socialist opinions?

Yet you are damning certain people because of their "opinions" that differ from yours?

A hypocrite, conceited and a faux snob, quite a mix.

It doesn’t mate. Why do you always assume when I disagree with you that I’m denying you your opinions. You sound like Neil off the Young Ones. A caricature oppressed lefty 😀.

I support the SNP because they are (or now possibly were) the only viable vehicle for independence. I don’t want Scotland to be run by the SNP forever. I just want it to be run by a government that it’s voted for.

And finally, I hate when people (like you just did) compare Scotland to provincial parts of England. It’s not the same thing Yorkshire isn’t a country. Scotland is. It’s a country that hundreds of years ago decided to sign up to a political union with some other countries. A lot of people now think that Union isn’t good for Scotland. Sadly for Yorkshire, Lancashire, Teeside etc etc they are part of England. Scotland isn’t.

Anyway, if fear we maybe be taking this thread somewhat off topic 🤣

What a typical nonsensical response.

You can’t be that blinkered that you completely misunderstood the point being made?

When St Mirren played IF Elsborg and AS Saint-Etienne in 1980 did you avoid going to the games because we only got there on the back of a Celtic victory and it was against all your morals?

Because the other guy who held those views actually went to see the first ever away tie in Europe. Talk about hypocrisy?

If you don’t think our rivals in the league (Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen) are hoping for results to go in their favour when we play opponents then I don’t think football is for you.

It’s not like you attend very many games so not much loss.

I don’t need to be “ITK” to understand what everyone who is directly involved with St Mirren will be hoping for if we finish 5th.

Since you are on the moral crusade then you contact John Needham, the other directors on the club board, the SMISA board, the manager and his staff, any of the players and ask them about the possibility of what I discussed.

I’m sure every rational individual on this forum will know their answer.

You appear so bitter and twisted about this it’s quite worrying. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Do us all a favour and add me to your famous ignore list.

I can only do a “nonsensical response” cos you typed a lot of mince.  :)

Away and bake some bread!

This is a fabulous elaboration of me making a simple point.  And other posters agreed with that simple point - we don’t need or want St Mirren’s success to be built upon the OF screwing over other diddy teams.  I am not alone.

And I am not on a moral crusade.  I stated my personal moral pov to wanting the OF to thrive.  I stand by that.

i don’t need followers or fans.

And I feel that people who accuse others of being bitter and twisted SHOULD be worried…. about their own irrationality.

Would it not be more profitable to you to ignore ME!?

I’m a straightforward St Mirren fan - I can cope with heidcases.

Och… I doubt you and I are the main causes of that.

There's a couple of chancers who feel inferior to me for some incomprehensible selfish reasons.  My opinion doesn’t count simply because of that.  Not just because it’s different to theirs.

on the politics thing… we went through this years ago.  And your opinion on that - and mine - are irrelevant, especially as Scots like you and me are denied a vote.  But…

Like millions of Scots who actually live in the place full-time, I don’t believe in “independence”.  “Independence” is a fallacy when you live in a developed western country under Capitalism - you cannot step aside from the economic constraints imposed on you.

But you’re right…. Somewhat off topic.  But I didn’t bring it up…

“My issue is with the way you talk about Scotland or to be more specific the way you talk down Scotland”

Oh my, your "I'm better than you" complex is on full throttle.
