Must admit I'm losing a wee bif of faith with Billy. He's costing us goals now and he's looking jittery which is not something we need right now.
Every player makes mistakes like he did yesterday (and at Raith) but I don't think he commands his box well enough which is my big criticism.
Look at the first Falkirk goal last week as an example. I want my keeper coming out and taking that high floated free kick. Instead Billy watches it sail into the box thinking it's going out, Falkirk player hooks it back across and they equalise. He got away with a couple in Greenock as well where he's flapped at crosses.
He's young but if I'm being brutally honest I'd say if we had a better keeper we'd already be safe. For me he has become the weakest link.
I don't think Jack would drop him though, and don't think Langfield is the answer anyway. We need to stick with Billy and hope he cuts out these daft mistakes because it's costing us.

The simple fact is basic goalkeeping errors have cost us massively this season possibly around seven or eight points. You can look at Langfield's kick straight to the Dumbarton player from around four yards.Gallacher failing to catch the cross in injury time against Morton.O'Brien's kick straight to Hardie against Raith and yesterday picking up a back pass when he must have lost it momentarily. All basic errors of the highest order no matter how well you play you simply cannot continue with those very very basic errors without it costing you.

Stelios played a blinder against Hibs, scored 2 goals and was subsequently dropped. Played great again against Morton scoring 1 and nearly scoring 2. If he had been dropped against Falkirk it would have told him in no uncertain terms that he wasn't favoured at the Club. You cannot have a guy play great then dropped the next game. Especially when Eck was out due to his own stupidity. We must be the fastest team in the Championship just now. Stelios loves attacking and is part of that onslaught. Play him as he is an entertainer as well as a decent footballer.

I`ve just gone back and re-read every single one of his posts on this topic and i`m sorry i cant find a single one which is disparaging or anything near it. Far from it , i think the overall tone of his posts here have been positive. He acknowledged the mistakes made in the past , thanked those who have supported the idea , even acknowledged there are those who dont get it ( without abusing them) and restated the groups aims to hopefully add a bit of colour to what , lets be honest , can be a pretty drab occurrence (Supporting Saints !!)
I think you must be seeing something here that i`m not.

Why does everything need to be a fight on here? Can't we all just get along?
If you don't like the idea and don't want to participate, that's absolutely fine. Fan displays aren't for everyone. At Kilmarnock we bought £80 worth of inflatable pandas, cows, beach balls, streamers and balloons. All the weans loved it. There's nothing sinister about our intentions, just a group of St Mirren fans who want to make a cup final memorable.
Thanks to everyone who's replied, donated and gave feedback. We genuinely do take it all on board.

Sorry if this has been discussed before but am I right in saying the final is the same day as Scotland v Slovenia?
if so, that is totally phukin shambolic even by the Scottish football authorities standards!

The sin bin was a fantastic addition to this fine little forum of ours.  A very welcome one that I sincerely hope will be utilised when the need most likely arises again.  The following three points will illustrate my reasoning behind my assertions.

    1)  The sin bin not only gave me a bit of piece from StuDick but I dare hope that we may have seen the last of the pesky one.

    2)  Skidmark Faraway got his botty skelped and although still a bit skidmarky his behaviour seems to have improved (if only slightly)

    and
    3)  Shull's unfortunate online meltdown seems to have halted.

The sin bin was a success, I shall toast the magnificence of the sin bin's impact over my next drink which I shall have now......in ten minutes I will be needing a pish!

Who knows - seems to me that the creation of The Sin Bin was a de facto admission that StuD and increasingly shull were out of control and should have been banned from the site.
I suppose div was caught between a rock and his advertising revenue. StuD attracted a lot of attention, I'd include myself on the list he hooked altho' I was trying to kick the habit, but no doubt he also drove a lot of people away.
The Sin Bin seemed to be a busy wee place and StuD & shull seemed to be revelling in it, StuD's exit seemed to be more to do with realizing that his attempt to sort out SMiSA by reporting them to "the powers that be" had backfired principally because he didn't even know who tptb actually were. As myself and others have mentioned it was always gonna end this way unless SMiSA made him Grand Wazoo. With his guru gone shull had little option but to follow..........
One things for sure, I'm not missing either of them.

I think, as Dave has alluded to, that Joma can do some element of besoke design for the Professional Clubs. It doesn't need to be totally out the catalogue.
The designs we've had from JD have, apart from the relegation season abominations, been pretty decent IMO. The strip that poz designed that we won the cup in was brilliant.
It was the quality of the kits, the shambolic release dates (ironically the only release they got bang on was the worst strip we've ever had) and the deal breaker of not being able to buy the kits in our own shop that really pissed everyone off.
All TTL need to do is do a proper formal launch of the new kit, at the last home game of the previous season, make it an event, take over the Dome or whatever, get a band in, get some ex-players, get some food and drink stuff set up, something for the kids, and sell the kits there and then. They'd completely clean up and undo much of the pain of the last 3 years with JD.
This ain't rocket science. We sometimes make it so hard for fans to spend money it's ridiculous!

Take your St Mirren hat off and look at it coldly - a team adrift at the bottom of the league below and low on confidence, goes to the home of a decent top flight side and does them over. By any standard, a tremendous result for the struggling side. Add in the amount of new faces who really won't have learned their team-mates names yet never mind gelling as a team, and it becomes a really tremendous result. Now add in the fact that it could see a nice wee earner coming up for a club with new ownership and busted USH, and it becomes a really, really, really tremendous result. Now for the bad news... Trump's a cnut.

I've got Sky primarily for the NFL and golf coverage. I watch the English Premier League, don't watch any foreign football at all. I watch the EPL because I have an understanding of the history, honours, managers, fans and cities involved. I have no interest whatsoever in Den Haag or Werder Bremen, Nantes or Sampdoria.
In regard to Scottish football. If St Mirren aren't involved.... nope, cannot locate the flying fcuk I don't give. Must be around somewhere mind you.
