Roman Abramovitch's boy toy spotted off Greenock today. He apparently heard Saint Mirren were for sale and visited Paisley yesterday. Unfortunately he could only find what looked like a certain east end of glasgow's training academy going by the signage so he's now at Crappielow in negotiations with them.

I like lee mcculloch. I thought he was best when rangers played him in a wide left position to suit the long ball they used in thier europa league run a few year ago. Around the same time he scored a belter from same position for Scotland against Ukraine. I think he would be too slow for the 1st division and our young team though.

Simple solution, scrap seat allocations.
I don't know why the game went down that route in the first place. Was it to satisfy some sort of policing requirement? When I used to have a season ticket for the old North Bank at Love Street the season ticket book was simply a means of pre paying your admission to the relevant part of the stadium. The seat allocation thing has always been a nightmare. After the seats were installed I remember buying a season ticket only to discover that the seats we'd bought were in the row infront of Willie Leggate. There was no way at all we were going to put up with a whole season of listening to him talking shite so we never took our reserved seat opting instead to sit in the unallocated area - yet that seat then would have a reserved sticker on it and no-one else would sit there either.
While I'm at it scrap segregation too. I have family who are big Hibs fans and friends who are St Mirren fans. I would actually enjoy visiting Greenhill Road to watch the two teams play if only I could sit in all of their company, rather than having to chose and then be split from them as though we couldn't sit together without coming to blows.

I dont think GT would be hanging about like a bad smell. He stepped into a thankless task by becoming our caretaker manager and also the fact he has a cup winners medal which he earned i think the least we could do is give him the option to stay as a player/player coach next season. I think if he can keep fit he will do a job for us down there. IF he would rather move on to pastures new id wish him all the best. Saints legend!

I stated i would hold back on my season ticket to find out if we were getting a new man in, and that if we did we all need to pay up asap to give the man some cash to work with.
Iam now going to log onto the ticket site and renew my season ticket.
