Swiss_Saint got a reaction from eastlandssaint in Hibernian v St Mirren Premiership 5/2/22
Thought Saints played very well today, some shaky moments but overall a well deserved victory, Jones , grieve, big Jak all great, no failures on the pitch for me

Grieve looking better than Main and Erwin combined so far, fingers crossed for him

Would take that all day, Kiltie has looked good playing Mcgraths position and we are in dire need of a winger on opposite side to partner Henderson

Would love to get Jones here but he only signed a 3 year deal for Wigan in August last year so unless there is some unhappiness there don't se it happening

Indeed.
The one bright spot in the second half.
Did more in the twenty minutes on the park than Dennis did previously.
He actually looks like he knows what a striker is supposed to do.
A promising start.

I was impressed with what I saw of Grieve today - he has a directness about his game - not one to hide, demanding the ball.

Nice strong run from Grieve there to win the free kick

Swiss_Saint reacted to Slarti in AGM being held via Zoom
Or you could look at it as even if the Director is isolating, they have no reason not to attend a Zoom AGM and are more likely to be able to be "held to account" - all just swings and roundabouts. -

I haven't checked the full details but the players all mentioned were all coming to end of contract so not sure what the board could have done better? Is there a comparable end of contract deal where another club have done better?
Transfer mkt figures, no idea if they are good or not
Lewis Morgan went from us to Celtic for £306k , he then left them to Miami for £360k
Kenny Mclean went from us to Aberdeen for £360k but left Aberdeen to Norwish for £203k
Mcginn as you say we have done ok out of
Stevie Mallan we got £306k for and barnsley then sold him to hibs for £180k
All in all not too bad based on what the clubs they went to then sold them for.

architects of our own demise so far, mistakes have let them back in after a great start. Ethan was playing really well doing his job so hope he is ok didnt see what happened to him. Best I have seen us play in large spells.

Erhahon is developing as a player and deserves his place in the team, however I don't think we need 2 defensive midfielders and either him or Power (Currently Power IMHO, but give it another 6-12 months and will probably be other way around) would be enough. Erhahon's positioning is usually spot on and breaks up play well and in addition his pass to Ronan for the first goal was inch perfect. I don't get the negativity sent towards one of our best young players.

Whit… Did you no see it on Sportscene - he jumped on top of McGrath’s ankle - was lucky it wasn’t a straight red.
