No you didn't, you asked what Oran had shown us, you asked for opinion there is a big difference, I gave you what you asked for there's a fact for you!

Anyway as I said I do not think it is too late but we are getting to that point soon where it will be. Your opinion (Not fact, see the difference) is that it is already too late, my opinion is different that does not make me deluded just hopeful, perhaps you should look up some definitions in the dictionary.

    Here's some facts for you:
We are 6 points behind 10th place
There are 39 points to play for
6 of the 39 points are against the 10th based team

The league is not over till its over, do I think we can stay up? with our form up to now No chance. Am I hopeful with the new players and the improvements that I have seen that we can stay up? Yes I am.

Can you also give me the lottery numbers as you can obviously see the future

But why ask for opinions on what someone has shown and then ignore those opinions to have a dig at the manager instead of answering them with opinions of your own , perhaps you are devoid of them? I will however humour you and reply to your points such as they are

Will it be too late, only time will tell but IMHO I have seen improvements since Oran had a chance to bring in players which in case you have forgot is what you asked, but go ahead and be negative, must be awful being so glass half empty seeing no good anywhere.

So who do you want me to compare him to? You say its not Stubbs team but up to a couple of weeks ago that's exactly what it was and now we are seeing the fruits of what OK is trying to do.
You asked for What OK has shown me
I have given you my OPINION on that , WTF did you expect me to give you , if you ask for something expect that as the answer!!
Has it been great yet , Nope, but for me and I add this is only my opinion before you go off on one he has improved the team and I believe we are going in the right direction.
So since you have an obvious wealth of top management football knowledge as yours in not opinion what would you have done/do differently and showing your working please state how we would have been in a better position than we are now?

    Ok has shown the following

    1. he brought in better players to stabilise Stubbs Sh~it job
    2. He cleared out much of aforesaid sh~it and brought in players better (GK is a great find, Popescu looks assured, Muzek looked decent, Mcallister, Lyons...) than what was there.
    3. He sorted longer contracts for our better younger players as well as Ferdinand and Baird (who is a decent player).
    4. He now that he has some players coming back from injury and more options has been unafraid to change the team around when required to try and fix issues. Hopefully the issues become less as the players get to know each other and he works out how best to use everyone.

Comparing him to Stubbs he is head and shoulders above him based on the points above so that is what he has shown me

I know that we're bottom of the league and struggling for form but i think the new players will find form in time to get off the bottom of the league. Bear in mind that we had to overhaul a huge amount of players, you wouldn't even do that pre season in normal circumstances.  Think back to when Jack Ross was in a similar position in the championship, most had us relegated and in that season it took time for the new players to gel, but they did just in time.  I'm not buying into the argument that he's tactically inept we have a huge amount of experience in our coaching staff. I think that it's a mixture of too many player not match fit at the same time and as I've already pointed out, still trying to gel as a team.
I know that there will be many who disagree but i think we're not far away from being a decent team.

You are a laugh a minute LPM, Oran inherited a side mired in the relegation fight with a transfer window of players wasted, if you cannot see that he has already improved the team then I really do pity you.
Will it be enough to keep us up, I guess we will see, yesterday there were green shoots which will hopefully continue to get stronger as the new players all get used to each other.
I pray that we stay up as I will then be genuinely excited to see what OK can do with a proper run at things, as far as I am concerned OK has done enough to warrant the rest of this season and next based on he has identified our weak areas and signed players for them and while the jury is still out on some of them a number look better than what we had/have.
OK has had to clear out a whole team of players in January and has brought in some quality additions, the only shame is that many are on loan but needs must at this point.

Seems a fair assessment to me and aside from Tansey and Dreyer giving cause for optimism, hopefully the other 2 just need to get fitter and learn to play with the team around them after all very early days for them all to Gel

Looking forward to seeing the new LB and hope Ethan gets to play his proper position as he has been good when played out of position.

We’ve now had an opportunity to see most of the new signings in action for at least 90 minutes. So what are the early views (disclaimer – my views are based on witnessing the whole of the Alloa and Hibs games, but only seeing the goals from the Celtic game) ?

Hladky – So far unspectacularly steady is my view. He hasn’t made a complete howler and he hasn’t produced a wonder save. A couple of the goals he’s conceded it could be argued he could’ve done better, but equally he’s produced a few decent saves that he wasn’t entitled to make. Was particularly unlucky against Celtic after making an excellent double save. Looks fairly sure footed and steady on the deck. I’m comfortable he’ll prove to be considerably better than anything else we’ve had this season. 7/10.

Popescu – Totally commanding in the air. Would love to see his “headers won” stats for his first 3 games. Can’t be that shy of 100%.  Also looks ok with the ball at his feet and positionally hasn’t given much cause for concern. The main area I remain to be convinced about is when he’s turned, or when someone is running at him. Not saying he’ll be lacking in this area, just not had sufficient opportunity to assess him. All in all though, I think an excellent addition. I’d give him a higher score if we hadn’t conceded 10 goals in the 3 games he’s played although I don’t think he’s been personally/directly culpable for any of the goals. 7/10.

Tansey – Not impressed at all so far. Looks unfit and not up to the quality required. Also came with a reputation for delivering an excellent dead ball which we’ve seen precious little evidence of  that so far. Jury well and truly out so far. 4/10.

Lyons – Extremely unlucky to get sent off against Alloa due to a horrendous refereeing decision, before which he had looked decent. First half against Hibs I thought he was excellent. Strong running, powerful and not afraid to get stuck in. Brilliant run and delivery for Jackson’s goal. Faded in the second half along with the rest of the team but I have high hopes that he will prove to be a good acquisition. 6/10.

McAllister – Looks a cut above to me. Helped turn the game against Alloa and scored a brilliant winning goal. Was definitely one of our better performers against Hibs although should have done better with his glaring opportunity in the second half. Tested their keeper on a couple of other occasions and was generally very unlucky not to get a goal. I think that he will improve our team more than any of our other new signings. 7/10.

Dreyer – Completely non existent in his first game. I’m not going to say he looked shite because he was totally anonymous. For the time being we’ll just need to give him the benefit of the doubt that he needed a game to get up to speed/find his feet, so we’ll see how he gets on in due course. Unrateable so far.

    Thoughts?

34 games is a decent crack of the whip yes but 19 of them were with a squad which was left limping by the previous incumbent you seem to love but he made the best of those by bringing in 3 quality players.
The remaining 15 we are starting to see an OK team on the pitch based on the January window which everyone agrees is a case of make a silk purse from a sows ear and he is doing a remarkably good job of that mostly with loans.
So I hope OK's signings can keep us up in which case he will have preformed a miracle after the start of season debacle from Stubbs. I will judge him based on the next 15 games not the last 19 and take it from there but for now he has my and many others full support.

I agree that it would be better if one group could speak to the other but as you say clearly a lack of resources hence me getting off my backside and sorting it, often think people would rather moan than just try and resolve a question themselves.

I can't claim to be ITK re anything St Mirren; however it doesn't take too much to work out why he is still here and playing regularly, he is actually not a bad player and quite obviously one that can cover 'other' positions, now before anyone gets their knickers in a twist; I'm not saying he is a great player but he is quite clearly better than some of the 'other' options that were available and in football if you would like to have a chance of winning, you play your best players . ....... that's how you win games.

Probably because he’s been one of the better players for us this season? He’s a good RB, done well out of position in the midfield, his worst performances were out of position at LB.

Having watched all the games (Bar Motherwell at the SDA) which the team have played this season It's because he's consistently better than anything else we have had available.  It's not exactly rocket science.
