As another poster said…..finished up with drinks getting thrown back and forward. Stewards and police holding our guys back. Sad to say that our young lads spent most of the time not watching the game but instead noising up the Celtic fans ceaselessly.
 Took a lot of the shine off the game for me. I clearly am getting old, but I see no value in that behaviour.

Main was outstanding and could (should) have had a hat trick. Off the park the behaviour of some our young guys and some Celtic fans was appalling. Happy to take the point but unhappy that these young guys think that they represent the values of our club. Moan over!

We really need newco Sevco utd to do us a favour tomorrow. If Hibs lose then its all to play for.
The only thing that might go against us is that so many of our players looked dead on their feet today.

Who can honestly claim they expected that today? We honestly could have, and possibly should have, won it. 
Everybody knows we have a good team and a good manager. The trouble is they seem to throw it away. 
Europe is back on the menu. We can beat either Aberdeen or Rangers. Hibs have two games against the Old Firm and an Edinburgh derby away at Tynecastle. We need them to lose all three games, and pick up at least three points, unless they get a couple of spankings to equalise goal difference.

What happened in the ground- the commentary picked up on it ?

The manager has taken the first step which was, IMO, to make us difficult to defeat. The next is arguably more difficult and that is to add one or maybe two 12-15 goals a season strikers without changing the shape of the team too much.

I appreciate the input of AW over the years but all involved need to move on. Announce the results of the election and move on. IMO the SMFC , Kibble and Foundation present unique opportunities going forward and should be judged on outcomes going forward rather than looking back.

It’s the impact of Covid more than anything. It’s impacted many clubs our level.

The SMFC ship has sailed through troubled waters before and no doubt will again in the future. The difference now is that there are three clear interests involved with the club as owners and/or facilitators towards the drive to become a truly community club. Take overs, for that is what happened here with the change of ownership provide an opportunity to shake the tree and see what falls out. Sadly, but unavoidably, this tends to lead to changes of direction, methods of operating and systems with the executable redundancies. Throwing blame around is easy. I am just glad that we are here, competitive and with crowds increasing. This is a good time to be a bud.

You'd like to think so but the door is now open let's see how far they can push it before the rest of the teams say enough is enough, wider than we'd all hope I suspect.

Be very surprised at anything other than a heavy defeat as usual. Our achievement in reaching the top six without a forward line is commendable but the late season collapse could see us quite easily have just one point from the final 21.  Maybe we should try next term with some forwards, who knows what we could achieve. 😁

I am not in favour. My ultimate concern is that should Celtic and Rangers leave the SPFL then the Colts would slot into their places.

I can’t see that being allowed SS but I could see their Colts becoming the de facto teams playing in the Scottish Leagues as a feeder for their top teams playing in another league. I hope neither scenario comes about.

Me, I’ll judge based on on field activities and words and numbers in a set of accounts, not the gossip of a bunch of sweetie wives on a football forum. 

Aw come on, we’re a far cry from those days! 
As for redundancies, no one likes to see people lose their job but in efficient businesses that keep themselves lean, this is a regrettable fact of life.
