Now , that reminds me of a song I got at school about the Bold Gendarmes, "when we meet a helpless woman or little boys who do no harm, we run them in ,we run them in , to sho that we are the bold Gendarmes". .
What the rozzers are saying , is that , if there are enough of you , they turn a blind eye to civil disobedience. .
I remember we played the other half at Loves Street , in a game that had been put back because der hunn was away getting beaten by Zenits St Petersburg. A chap in the NB produced a small St Petersburg flag and held it up toward the zombies. A rozzer wearing a hat with scrabbled egg on it told the lad to put the flag away. Meanwhile , at halftime a massive bigot flag was unfurrled in the away end. The lad in the NB asked the rozzers why that was allowed and he said that the lad in the NB would have to ask the rozzers in the away end. .
It is a numbers game. .
At one point today , it sounded like the whole stadium was singing , "If you hate Craig Burley etc. ."

I have never been one for shouting political slogans at the fitba , however , it would be fun if we all sang that slogan , en masse , the next time that lot come to Paisley. .

Aye , if Lee hadn't stopped him , he would have been in the stand getting swamped by fellow Buddies. .
It isn't easy to concieve, what it would be like as a fan scoring for you beloved team , at Hampden , against that mob, in front of a few thousand very partisan Saints fans and millions of viewers at home, in a semi-final. .but l'm thinking totally fantastic/ immeasurable/immence. .

My wummin said to me tonight, "you can take that woolly hat off now. I think they'll be keeping the cup".
And a while later, "that t-shirt's starting to stink, I Believe...".
    All things must pass...
And this has been a very good thing.

Just noticed a big homemade sign at the big roundabout in Houston , it says " Thommohawk Believe". .
Also noticed 3 cars with SMFC stickers on them on my way to the petrol station this morning , which is great since , normally you wouldn't know that you are in Saint Mirren Land. .

The forum has been fantastic this week. Everyone oozing with excitement, positivity and togetherness.
    It's been absolutely superb.
We can't get to a cup final every week, or even every season, and of course we have no divine right to win the cup on Sunday either, but it would be great if the place retained a wee bit of this unity after the final whistle has blown, whatever the result.
We are stronger when we are all together supporting our fantastic football club.

....and if you've got decent money to spend and would like the black colour to look like real black instead of a sort or really, really dark grey, then skip the LCD & the LED and buy a plasma (although the top of the range LEDs are much better than they used to be and can almost match the black of a plasma). An LED Tv will produce a brighter, sharper picture, but make sure you purchase one with a high scanning rate (100/200Hz) as they suffer from motion blur, which you also don't get happening on a plasma. Plasma TVs also have better viewing angles than LEDs. The Plasma's will look much duller in a showroom, but remember you wont be watching it at home surrounded by strip lights.
LCD/LEDs are available in a wider range of sizes as Plasma is not really available under 42"

    Okay , a bit subjective now. .
HD ready means a resolution of 750 , full HD (which is what you want) is 1080p . LED v's LCD , I would say , LED is better but I would recommend you go along to your local convience, retailer, of big f**k off telly's , and have a look to see if you see a difference in the technology.
If you are watching standard definition at the moment , on a good quality HD telly with HD channels , you will see a hell of a lot better picture , up 5x better. The fitba and movies look the best in HD and I would recommend a 5.1 surround sound system as all Sky Movies and most of the fitba comes in 5.1 surround. .

LED is better and you can get a good 3-D image with it, however , it depends how much you want to spend as LED is more expensive and if you are not going to recieve HD or 3-D images , for that matter , then I'd just go and get an LCD as Tesco are selling a 52" for circa £400 . .
Now , I'm not saying buy it in Tesco(that was quoted as an example) just as I wouldn't say buy yer groceries in Curries but you know what I'm implying. Don't you. .

That is a fantastic photie of Sydney Harbour. First class. .
I used to work in a Tait designed building in Prestwick . The building wasn't always in Prestwick , it was only moved there , just prior to the war after begining life at Bellahouston Park. .

Thank goodness we all have different tastes and opinions. - makes life more interesting.
Personally I am a great fan of Art Deco and would love to have visited the Hospital in its heyday - as a visitor and not as a patient I may add! I am sure I came across some photos a while back of when it first opened but can no longer find them. I hope the Burrell Company get their finger out and start work soon on their refurbishment and don't have a plan B like many 'developers' in Paisley ie let a building rot then have it demolished.
We should be proud to have a Tait building in Paisley (even if its not to everyone's taste). He masterminded the Glasgow Empire Exhibition in 1936, helped design the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Scottish Office, Calton Hill and many fine buildings in London. The wee guy from the John Neilson did ok
