The continued posting of application numbers by the FC suggests they see getting to 3 hunderd as being an achievment. Beyond that little seems to matter.

The Mrs and myself are opening a Salon in Paisley (21 Broomlands Street).
We're having an opening day next Saturday, would be great to see a lot of buddies. We've went with a black white and red colour scheme.

Exactly. Outsourcing works because it allows those with experience and expertise to provide a service much more efficientlty than could be done internally (and even allowing for their profit uplift can be done cheaper and with less risk). Outsourcing is especially good for an oragnisation with limited management staff (such as SMFC).
There are many painshare/gainshare arangements than can be implemented to reward performance or cap profit.

Given the financial risk with this venture, the planning needs to be spot on, before it is fully implemented.
IMO it would be folly to proceed with the current plan, given some of the really sensible suggestions posted on this thread, which could help maximise The Void's usage.
If it really is the fans council, for all fans, then I believe that they need to re-think how this is rolled out and make sure as many fans as possible have access to this facility.
I applaud their intent and effort, but it seems to me that there is a need for better organisation, which in turn should lead to greater transparency and sustained fan involvement.

Fans council showing themselves to be a wee clique thats not fit for purpose with this one. It hasn't descended into anything petty. There are plenty of good if not better suggestions on this thread which seem to be better options for both providing a sausage roll thiefs club and a bar for your average punter while maximising initial revenue and through the till revenue.

This doesn't come over very well Gary. Seriously, it sounds like pesky supporters getting in the way of the Fan Council doing their business.
The club don't need to consult supporters when they sign players, set season ticket prices, sign deals with Hummel or JD, or change from En Croute to UWS....
The Fan Council however is supposed to be the conduit between fans and club. Seems to me it is heading towards being an insular wee private club that doesn't take kindly to criticism.

I don't see ill-thought criticism. I see people giving reasons for their criticism, which they are entitled to do.

I pay a pretty hefty price every year in my golf club fees.... but I can sign guests in and bring a mate to the club.

No offence to the Fan Council because I can see what they are trying to do, but this just doesn't sit right with me.

The tribute act you talk of has won 2 trophies in their short history.....Div 3 and Div 2.The previous club that died won hunners of trophies but that's all in the history books now.They are are shut down,closed,DEAD and nothing you,or any other blue nose sympathiser,can say changes this.

Firstly those who sit in that section of the West stand are not "the main football fans", they're just fans like everyone else.
I do expect some swearing, " a tad of industrial language at the football" but some people should show a little more consideration to those around them.
Last week at Aberdeen some of the language was dreadful from these 2 guys sitting pretty much directly behind me and my 5 year old son. I'm not wrapping him in cotton wool, I fully expect the odd "f**k sake St Mirren", or "you're an arse hole referee" type shouts but the shouts coming out if these guy's traps were pretty poor.
It was non stop, almost every minute of the game. "c**t, f**king fanny, takes it up the f**king arse, ya big f**king poofter, your maws a junkie f**king bastard, f**k off and die ya sheep shagging bastard."
Is there any need? Do these people just feel the need to be heard?
Should I expect this or should I expect a little consideration from grown men who should be smart enough to tone it down a bit when there's a 5 year old sitting right in front of them.
Or should I just expect them to say "f**kem"?
We did get up and move in the second half and the drive home had a few questions about new words in his vocabulary...

Have to disagree with those blaming cheesy for the penalty. Never a spot kick. If that challenge had happened anywhere else on the park , would a foul have been given ? I dont think so.
We can look forward to games with ten penalties if that is deemed a foul !
