Danny Lennon has been our best manager of the last 25 years - closely followed by Tom Hendrie, until it's arithmetically impossible for him to catch Danny.

It as a £30k profit. Inconsequential in the grand scheme of things when up against club's who were literally spending £ millions in wages and transfer fees more than us. St. Johnstone were the next lowest wage spenders and yet they spent DOUBLE what we did.
As I have pointed out in my last post. Look at St. Mirren now and look at Dunfermline now.
You wanted us to go down the Dunfermline route*. How wrong you were.
    * Not that it would have possible as we had no line of extra credit.

As many of you are aware, one of our footsoldiers, sadly, didn't make it home from Firhill last week!
THE Black&WhiteArmy are therefore proposing that we all show our appreciation of Simon Richardson at the 68th minute (Year of his birth) during todays game! - Please join in & spread the word.

I was with Simon on Saturday afternoon in the Star and Garter before the game with davej.
Words cannot describe how I've been feeling since I found out on Sunday night. The police had requested that this didn't hit social media, hence why I hadn't posted anything earlier, but I guess it's out now.
Simon was a true gentleman (with emphasis on the word "gentle") and a fantastic friend. Always there for you when you needed anything and always up for a beer and a laugh. A staunch Saints fan as well.
I have many, many memories from over the years and a lasting reminder everytime I look at my wedding photos, as Simon took them all for us free of charge, just because he wanted to. That's the kind of guy he was.
He will be sorely missed. Absolutely tragic.

    Appalling thread.
Apparently our resident "dementor" thinks we "should be doing better".
    Better than what?
Better than 7 points from our last 4 games 3 of which saw us playing some seriously excellent football?
This is just getting fecking stupid.
    Talk about cloud cuckoo land.
Kenny Everett was right. We should round them up in a field…...

Supporters were shouting abuse at Tommy because some supporters are of the delusion that they are better coaches than a lifelong football professional. Probably the same supporters that booed Goodwin when he was subbed and applauded Gauld when he was switched. Mental. Some so called Saints fans need to take a long hard look at themselves and realise that abusing club personnel does absolutely f**k all good for the team they profess to support.

So he shuffled the squad and results improved - that was my point, yours was "The squad is below average though. The worst in the Scottish Premiership"
Ship goals - in one out of the three games,
Hearts chances - when games are settled on this basis you'll have a point, until then.................
I have no idea whether the improvement in results will be sustained - 7 points from 3 games if sustained over a season would be good enough for 2nd place (indeed it would exceed Celtic's winning total last season of 79points), so probably not but again that was not what I was arguing - my claim was about "the quality of the squad, which I still reckon is average amongst the bottom feeders" and I'd say the last three results have bourn this out.
I did know what I was talking about which meant that I didn't have to make a different set of claims in my follow up post.

Newton was poor in his first 45 mins with us and turned out to be pretty decent.
Poor Bahoken only landed at Glasgow last night and I am sure he had to look at a map to see where the hell Paisley was located. The guy is only 21 and hasn't been playing regularly but thrown straight into a game as our savior. Give him a break FFS

Because my dads a thistle fan, like his dad before him. My dad was brought up in Milton, my grandad in maryhill, 20 yards from the main door of the ground.
They always have and always will be my team. I have devoted more time to them than I have for some people in my life.

Yippee! 23 threads asking for our manager to be sacked after a few games and now a POLL.
All my Christmasses have come at once.
    Thank you Lex.
    Thank you SOOOOOOOO much.
If it weren't for you, the keyboard clatterers, who don't actually go to games, would have no voice at all.
Neither would all the brand new multiple aliases who've miraculously sprung up in the last 3 weeks.
In my excitement I null-ed my vote! I hope Div can reset my vote because I'm frantic that my vote will be unheard in this crucial but life affirming poll.
Threads, polls........the only thing missing from the holy trinity of online twattery is a tweet campaign targetting the board.
Our "fans" are an utter embarassment and have turned our club into a laughing stock.
Why would any player want to come here after reading this forum.

Got a match on Saturday, he and Tommy have shown they have come up trumps before.
    They can do it again.
Full backing for them and the players would help.

Yes, why take off a 35 year old winger after 105 minutes of football for young legs, seems madness when you think about it.

    3 words....
    In a heartbeat.
Anyone who doesn't appreciate what Lappin brought to Saints would do well to think back to the period after he picked up an injury in the season before he left us and our form dipped correspondingly. He was Sutton's supply route much of the time, and could also hit a decent strike himself. We've not had anyone who has come close to his crossing ability since he left, IMO.
We couldn't afford him, but I'd welcome him back with open arms - a great player.
