  1. Can I suggest two adults behaving like kids in a sandpit is the sort of thing that could/should be moderated? You two clearly have a beef with each other but ripping into each other on a public forum is a tad tiresome. If you need to argue over “few/some” etc., can’t you do it via PM.
  2. Hopefully Goodwin is kicking some ass in the changing room.
  3. In my opinion, too many people are taking the side of an ex-manager. I’ll always be grateful for the great work of the managerial team in keeping us up but I really believe it was a team effort and our survival was not down to Kearney alone. I would have been happy for him to stay another season but his personal circumstances have taken his career in another direction. To be honest I had never heard of him before the first interviews and I’ll be quite happy to never hear of him again. 100% behind the new managerial team and hoping for a better season this term.
  4. Thank you. Best post of the close season.
  5. Reliable, strong, fast, environmentally aware. What more you could ask for in a centre half?
  6. Premature exclamation Tom? An age thing, an age thing indeed.
  7. If the height of Oran’s ambition is to be a PE teacher and manage a part time Northern Irish team then who are we to stand in his way? It sounds as though there may be faults on both sides but onwards and upwards. Hopefully we’ll be able to hold on to the next manager for a full season.
  8. Normally I don’t give a flying duke what the strip looks like, but that home strip is absolutely horrible.
  9. I doubt if we could afford the terms McAllister expects and Muzek would be a mibbe for me.
  10. You’re absolutely right. There is no point to twatter
  11. Let's Laugh At Jack Ross Thread No, let’s not. Far too many folk here with short memories. Jack rescued us from oblivion and moved on for a whole lot of money and massive opportunities. I blame him for nothing. Can’t pretend I follow the ups and downs at Sunderland so I’ve no idea why he failed to gain promotion but I’m certainly not going to laugh at him.
  12. I wouldn’t be surprised but has this been announced anywhere?
  13. Good draw. Could only have been improved if M*rt*n had been included in our group. I know it’s akin to fish in a barrel but I can’t get enough of beating them.
  14. Another opportunity for me to say “ Thank f**k I’m not on Twitter”. If Twitter is populated by attention seeking knobs like English I’m happy to steer clear.
  15. Jesus f**king Christ. Do we really need this thread tonight? Can’t we be allowed a couple of days of relief/enjoyment without armchair managers chipping in with where we went wrong and “what do we need for next season”? Some people need to learn how to live in the moment and enjoy themselves.
  16. I hope we don’t end up regretting bringing on Hodson. Surely a forward against 10 men would have been a better option.
  17. Pity big Gary is missing the last game of the season 🤞
  18. Didn’t Alba have to delay the rebroadcast of a game we played at Inverness (or Dingwall). The game was supposed to be shown at tea time but was delayed to after the watershed because of “foul language”. Now I don’t have a word of the Gaelic in my head but I wouldn’t call it a foul language.
  19. Hands up, who else thought: Saints against 9 men - what can possibly go wrong? Not a great game but very exciting and we were always in control despite Hamilton’s negative approach. The assault on Gary Mac was worth 3 red cards. Flynn seemed to inspire the rest of the team when he came on. Got to hope he’s got 90 minutes in him on Saturday. Great to see two Academy boys doing the business against the Accies.
