Companies should not be getting involved in the personal lives of their employees. No company would ever be allowed to dictate where I live.  You set the 30 mile limit because it allowed you to control your staff better. Nothing to do with their wellbeing, How arrogant to think you know better than the employee about how to get the right balance in their lives.

Well done the youngsters thought they were excellent. But they were let down by experienced professionals in Kirkpatrick and McShane terrible display by them. But young Wilson in goal is a talented young keeper. Potter and McBrearty at the back were good. But the 2 outstanding players on the park were Glover and Breadner outstanding young players. Breadner especially is quick and has an eye for goal. Glover is the engine room non stop motion. For me one or both could get a game in our midfield now. But to be fair that wouldn't hard. Good game.

It definitely looks like the international break has come at a good time for McGinn and the team in general.

You have got to be impressed with their start. Will we finish above Livie ? Personally I don't think so they have a formula that works. Oran is building his formula , going by yesterday I would say we are heading in the right direction especially up front goals will come. Defence does not look too bad with Ferdinand giving Baird coaching.  In the middle of the park we are missing a bit of steel. Murray, Goodwin , Abercrombie type player. Things will get better I came away from the game yesterday quite happy.

Aberdeen may not want us there, but our team need us there.
    Take the Court Bar bus.
Leaves at 9am arrives in Stonehaven around 11.30am, lovely town.
A couple of hours relaxing there then onto the game.
    Good crowd on the bus.
Non members £12 for the bus.
Back in Paisley between 8 and 8.30pm.
    A good day out.

Craig Samson for me , is one of the few players to get pass marks this season.  He doesn't deserve to , or will be dropped at this moment in time.

My daughter is 10 now and generally watches the whole match now. When we were in the Family Stand when she was 4, 5,6,etc she got really fed up and we ended up playing I Spy during most games as well as counting every Plane coming in and out the Airport.
I must admit, I hated going when I was 6,7,etc. I would have rather stayed at home playing football or whatever.
    My dad made me go.
Now, I am delighted he did.

I think the fact that someone said earlier that he got a big ironic cheer when he eventually touched the ball, probably tells you everything you need to know.

I've not read back and sure it's been covered to some degree on here but those two women are by far and away the worst St Mirren fans I have ever had the displeasure to sit near. We tried to move at half-time but with such a big crowd and people at the pie shop we decided to soldier on.
The constant screaming of complete and utter nonsense throughout the 90 minutes made me feel like my ears were going to bleed. They were completely clueless about what they were talking about as well. Taking out the bad language (which I don't have a massive issue with, although when it was constant the whole game I can fully see the point that it's unacceptable) some of the whoppers we were compelled to believe include:
Their ability to spot wrong offside calls from what must of been over 120 yards away Their ability to spot wrong corner decisions when it seemed clear to all other fans, the officials and the players that the ball had came off the defender last A change to the pass-back rule that other fans, officials and the players were not aware of (now balls passed back off your thigh should be deemed a pass-back apparently)   St Mirren players tripping up  the opposition is now not a foul The opposition winning the ball cleanly from St Mirren players now is a foul It should now be policy to immediately substitute a St Mirren player for a single mistake regardless if it's 80 minutes or 80 seconds into the game  Danny Mullen has apparently chilled the F*** out a lot compared to 10 years ago (when he would of been 13) apparently back then, if an opposing player committed a foul against him, he'd of put him on the ground and 'jumped all over his head'  I could go on.
I sincerely hope I never have the misfortune to encounter either of them again at games.

We seem to judge our team on a match by match basis. Gus has not had any effect . In a few days ? Just the usual neg pish that get posted by posters in nappies. Poor day but FFS give it some time. Was expecting a Sack Oran thread but this almost as laughable. Mate ur a joke

Of course, rather than writing about a poisonous dressing room, he could have written about a manager coming in and showing zero respect to a group of players who took us from the brink of League One to the Premiership, took morale to an all time low, brought in sub standard players and appointed a bellend as first team coach. That might be slightly closer to the truth.
I have nothing against Stubbs, but the only person who sabotaged his chances of being a success was himself.

Most pleased to see Anton at the final whistle take off his track suit top to show the black and white stripes and join the players enjoying the applause of the Saints supporters In the west stand.
A great attitude from a seasoned professional.
My St, Mirren supporting father was a Coleraine man. He would have enjoyed that tonight.

Just home from that. Well what a difference a manager makes. I thought we were outstanding in the 1st half , but severely lacked that killer touch ( maybe Anton Ferdinand knows a few 6ft fast physical strikers) , but to be honest,  I can't fault any off them . 2nd half is probably the most organised and well drilled defensively I've seen us in a long time.  Well deserved 1pt , and great to get the feel good factor back.
Everyone get yourselves to Hamilton next week , we're back on our way.

If this was ten games from now and Kearney knew a bit more about his players , then perhaps we may have pressed more against the ten men, however it is 8 days into his tenure and I think he got the tactics spot on.
Had we pressed forward we would have been vulnerable to the pace of Forrest and tierney and may well have lost what could be a very valuable point .

Sutton said that our dressing room was poisonous. If it was it was his pals Stubbs and Jackson that made it that way.

Maybe something to do with the fact that the previous waste of a managers jacket didn’t sign any (decent) forwards

Very proud of the boys tonight. Effort was fantastic. Maybe OK should get the magician in every week. Don't want to pick a MOM thought everybody was excellent. But pick one out. Ferdinand strolled through the game for his 73 mins. Considering he's not played since the end of last season. Always had respect for Brendan but to say that wasn't a sending is just ridiculous. If Stubbs had have boss tonight that's a point we wouldn't have had. Well done Oran and the boys. Hopefully the feelgood factor is back. Coys

Anton Ferdinand never knew most of his team-mates names and was not match fit.
Edwards never knew most of his team-mates names and has just arrived.
Our new boss was making a huge step up to full time management and as above, hardly even knows the players names.
We were playing the Champions with top quality players.
We have been shipping four in under thirty minutes and have been out before it’s half-time.
Our record against that mob is hardly stellar, a 7-0 gubbing would not have been unthinkable.

... and we got a point. Personally, I’d have been happy had we just looked a bit more organised and had tried our best. Bloody great point...Sutton, you wank.
