I'm not particlularly pro-lennon. i am a realist, he is not going to be sacked any time soon and the negativity from many is childish and destructive. no team has a divine right to win every game and anything that involves people will go astray from time to time. the hallmark of dignity and maturity is to hold fast and try and work it out, not sack every fukker's ass whenever the balloon goes up.

and finally, before i watch the recording of Richard Prior and open that wee bottle of Rioja, After seeing the owner of this forum call for the manager's sacking, the nasty part of me hopes that DL tells div to take a flying f**k to himself next time he asks for info or an interview. But i suspect that DL is some way better than that and I should be too.

You must be a shit manager then, almost anyone in bother can turn it around. It's not hard if you have the will and a boss who knows the ropes. I.m proud to say I've been a manager for over 20 years and have never had to dismiss anyone. It's as much hard work to build a case and bag someone as it is to address their shortcomings and help them move on. I suppose it depends on what approach you prefer

The players need to be ready to explain why they are not following the managers instructions to a T....... And if what a lot of people on here want happens, DL sacked, then they need to explain why they will listen to a new manager. I think it's a disgrace that DL could be sacked because of the players inability to do thier job as they should.

You've hit the nail on the head. Too many people have decided that the manager has to go and now they are working hard to make sure their prophecy comes true. Wonder how many will have the grace to say they were wrong if the manager turns it around, many clubs have had worse starts and then turned it around. we arent even out of August yet. if the players let us down today then changing the manager ain't gonna improve things. Time for some of the senior players to show some leadership, I feel.
Some people blaming the manager, some blame the players, some blame the board and some blame all three. if it is true that there was a vocal section giving the team stick from the start then i'm afraid the support needs to join the rest and take a good look at themselves.
I'm not happy about performances or results, but we've been through this before and come out of it.

Some of the fans at the game today were a disgrace giving the players dogs abuse from the kick off, some even before a ball was kicked, What has happened to getting behind the team, even when they're playing badly, Do any of these "supporters" think abusing already disheartened , not playing well, or not "up for it " players will suddenly make them into better players.
