In the Q&A Gordon mentioned a few times how tired the current board are. There's no doubt that's resulted in lethargy at the club for the past few years. I really hope the positivity surrounding this deal and the closer link between fans and club can transfer to success on the park.

The bid from Qatari group is the one we knew about, there were no named persons (and still are none) so couldn't give the info out, i did think it would not surface until we got over the 1000 mark, and have been proved right, at this stage it's words in a newspaper and our deposit is on it's way to the consortium. No idea why someone would want to print this in the press without letting SMiSA know about it.
Suffice to say our bid is in and at a set price and nothing will change on that, i can assure you all that as soon as we know what's occurring here i will let you know. Meanwhile it's just a newspaper story, nobody has contacted SMiSA regarding this.

Got plenty of potential. We have a good stadium, good training facilities, 2 mins from Glasgow Airport and a town of 80,000 people. Let's maximise what we have got.
Get some black and white colour about the town centre and remind the people of Paisley there is a football team to get behind.

Yes div selling consortium have agreed to stagger payments monthly until a loan is in place , this was confirmed by David Nicol at the meeting

Quite significant, really, and suggests that they have genuine willingness to seal the deal.
Of course, it also means that Stewart can start eyeing a new set of clubs, so everyone's a winner.

The numbers are totting up nicely. Rather than 'if' but 'when' we pull this off it may well result in a rippling of positivity throughout the whole club and the support. Boy does it need it.
The club has been crying out for something like this for years. It's finally a chance for everyone to pull together and make the club the best it can possibly be which is fantastic. Gordon Scott is a positive, intelligent and innovative character who will make an excellent chairman.
I am not naive enough to think that everything at the club will change overnight and we will see an extra £1 million a year added to playing budget but I think we will see steady improvement throughout the whole club when this bid is successful. They will continue the prudent philosophy of only spending what you earn which the current board have wisely adopted since coming to office. I think Gordon Scott and his new board and the members will bring some great ideas that will generate more income for our club.
