You think he "discovered" the Tesla coil?

Lying in a bush?

With his own name stamped on it?

That's the problem with the edit post facility.

You clean up one problem and promptly step in another puddle. lol.gif

The first Scotland v England fitba' match , was played at the Oval and was attended by over 4000 spectators , 1 of whom was probably the London Saint himself , Bluto. .

Scotland played in the colours of Dark Blue as worn by Queens Park FC at the time as that was there colours and most of the players came from that team. Scotland still wear the Dark Blue but Queens Park FC , like most clubs over the years , have changed their colours and use Black and white. .

The 1st game was at Hamilton Cr,Glasgow in 1872.It ended up 0-0.Before this teams from Scotland and England had played each other, the 1st of these was 1870,but they were not classed as Internationals. At least one of those games was played at The Oval.

Football was played in this country before 1870 but teams tended to have there own rules. This is how halftime came about . In the first half , the two teams would play to the rules of the home team and in the second half they would play to the rules of the "away" team .

In the game I referred to , the two teams played to Association Rules at the Oval. .

The pitch markings we recognise today(for Association Fitba') , only date back to around 1902. .

The ringpulls on cans of soft drinks are designed to hold a straw in the can without the bubbles forcing the straw out of the can. Once you have opened the can, simply spin the ringpull round to cover the hole and insert your straw through the ringpull hole and hey presto! The straw stays put. Magic!
