There's a Desperate Dan statue in the centre of town, quiet pedestrianised and... No bad on the Sabbath. Worth stroking his chin.

Also Minnie the Minx. to Dan's left.

Top visitor attraction has to be the Discovery/museum, doon by the watter,

Gets rave reviews and no slagging which is unusual, on Trip Advisor.

The rest of the seafront is half-demolished sixties monstrosities and ever-varying road layouts to get close (but sometimes FARAWAY from) to the Bridge.

So despite your best intentions you COULD find yourself en route to bloody Arbroath.... sad.png

Fife's fine.

It has St Andrews, Crail, Anster....

As a revered tour guide, I might suggest any one of those might be a better (St Andrews) or more attractive (all three) base to spend the night. :)

Nip up to Broughty Ferry for lunch, nice wee walk along the front and see the castle too. In Dundee, best pubs are in the west end/Perth Road end of town. Speedwells is a good wee boozer, near there is the DCA (Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre) if feelng like some cultyoor...
