Two quite unbelievable halves to two very different seasons, both memorable in their own right. Two home defeats in all of 2017 in the league is a rarity for a club of our stature. Deekthebuddie
Onwards and upwards. Got a win in difficult conditions against in nearest rival in the table, and a great penalty save from Samson. Just need to keep up our tempo, work on defence and midfield and hopefully this time next year, we will be discussing where we are in the premiership and in a good place in the table
DWBud
That picture really speaks volumes for us, Jack Ross is a Demi-God. 2 points better off than Hibs after the same amount of games, UTD in a similar position. Let’s keep up the good work and hope 2018 is just as good to us.

True, I've been going since 1993 when I was 9, so this will be my 25th year of following us.

bud84
2017 for St Mirren has been quite unbelievable. Normally over the course of a season or even calendar year us fans get a handful of wins to celebrate and if we're really lucky get a moment to be really proud of like a win against 1 of the old firm or the mob from down greenock way. To start off the year we were pretty much still f**ked. Our only hope was for the gaffer to pull something out the bag that none of us could have expected and thank God he did. At the end of January, down at Dumbarton something clicked, not necessarily with the team but between the 800 odd fans we took there and the team on the park and from there its grown. A point that day with more or less a whole new squad was a decent enough result but the weeks that followed just got better and better. Ayr away really kick started something and the other results that followed were fantastic, hibs and United at home was a massive 6 points, Morton away, Ayr at home, Raith at home then hibs away being the pick of the bunch. To carry that winning mentality through into this season has been a fantastic achievement and to get ourselves into the position we are now in from where we were is pretty remarkable tbh. Without a shadow of a doubt my favourite year ever of following the Saints. Cheers to Jack, James all the staff and players for a year never to be forgotten. Happy new year when it comes lads
St.Ricky
A year in which we won nothing turned out to be one of the most exciting and topsy turvy years in my 45 years watching Saints.

I think it equals our best in modern times , 1977 was also 28 , although it included half a season in the top division !
