Having read some amount of pish about him on this forum, it was good to see him have a fine performance today. We were a lot more composed at the back today, with Cheesy and Plummer both doing very well. Here's hoping he continues to develop, having Plummer alongside should help.

Danny got the opportunity to manage a top flight club. Danny served his full contract term therefore the board held their part of the deal. Danny was not sacked. Can't get my head round everyone spitting the dummy out. Should point out I was all for Danny getting a new deal also but I certainly don't think he was treated badly.
For me Tommy Craig is a smart move along with Goodwin and Teale and look forward to the close season to see who stays and comes in. Then the excitement of the new season to see if our new management team can push forward. Certainly wont judge anyone before a ball is even kicked.

The men at the helm obviously will look for the best interest for the club, selling up or not.
If they were trying to "cut costs" then why offer Kenny McLean a new "Super Deal" why not let him go and take the compensation that is due.

surely if the players didnt want him there then they wouldn't even consider appointing him.
There were players who weren't happy with DL and were not shy about it.
Maybe this is an appointment that could allow us to tie up most of the players by the end of the week and look to build. Gary Harkins has got a big year with us next year... assuming he doesnt sign permenantly for Oldham
