  1. Foley , Flynn , Broadfoot , Paul McGinn and Vaclav are our next players . Magennis has the potential to be better than the four mentioned .
  2. Why doesn't Paul McGinn take them
  3. This is what I think , based on the fact that the Coleraine job being kept open for so long , Jimmy Nichol moving on and the fact that we never made any moves for any Northern Ireland based players .
  4. The answer isn't sacking a manager every run of bad form . We need to give JG three or four transfer windows , admittedly not an ideal process to watch , but that is what is required for us to progress.
  5. My hope is that he could be the guy that creates in wide positions , a bit like what we expected from Kyle McAllister . He can play his way to fitness over the next few months , but could still be effective for parts of the game whilst he does that.
  6. He has a history of being a good steady versatile player who had gave good honest shifts throughout his career , no history of being a wage their , a season and a half contract would make decent sense .
  7. Exactly the type of player we should be targeting.
  8. Can see this leading to a January transfer , hoping his agent is putting this about to generate more interest and hopefully a decent transfer fee .
  9. Season tickets are good value , The problem is what teams charge for away fans . St Mirren should lead the way and set up some reciprocal agreements with entry say at £20 anf £12.
  10. Valentino,s was £1 and pints there were 33p . A giro was £16 , which allowed you to have a life .
  11. During Fergies days it was £3 for the bus to Aberdeen and 80p to get in , pints were 28p so a good day out was a fiver . Interesting though is the price of travel compared to the price at the gate.
  12. Would make him our top earner , give him a £100k signing on fee , and %20 of any transfer fee should we get over £500k and %30 of any transfer fee should we get over £1million .
  13. Pretty much how I saw the game . Thought we were set up not to lose today . Broadfoot probably our best player , though there were a few decent performers , Flynn won't walk straight back into the team when he returns , he will have to sit on the bench and wait for his chance , the same way Stephen McGinn had to . I do though think Flynn will be excellent coming off the bench and supporting the midfield . Great result , onwards and upwards .
  14. How many times you seen him?.? I've not seen him , that's why I asked the question . Saw the highlights of the Wrexham game and he looked quite decent and had a bit of pace about him . Was wondering how he is coming on in the reserves .
  15. Maybe the first step is to go out on loan . Maybe somewhere like Stirling Albion or Clyde .
  16. Totally agree with the line up . Think we could cause teams problems at set pieces. Very much the best we can do with the current playing squad.
  17. Scored on Saturday , think he plays up front or wide on the wing , though I'm not too sure , hence the post . Still young so very much one for the future
  18. Watched the highlights of the Wrexham game and Jay Henderson look very good . Is he ready yet for the first team squad ? How good is he ? How long has he been with us ?
  19. Collectively the team don't create enough chances , or have decent attempts at goals , I think the problem is we don't get sufficient numbers in the box . I also think if we manage to get the first goal and teams have to come at us , we might be quite effective on the break .
  20. I think the varying rates of pay the players were on may have a detrimental effect on the team .
  21. Do you have to open an account to watch it ?
  22. It was the money received from Phil O'Donnell that put that team together , I have a theory that after this Celtic and Rangers got together and decided not to buyplayers playing for Scottish clubs as paying them good money for players just allowed them to put together a team capable of challenging them .
  23. We know our best options for the back four and our midfield three , we still haven't worked out how to get the best out our attacking three or who our attacking three should be . Maybe our best option might be to have Waters and McGinn putting the crosses and ensuring there are four attackers in the box when the cross goes in .
  24. Think we,ll go with three central defenders and McGinn and Waters as wingbacks , Durmus / McAllister will make way for G Mac . Think we,ll go for two up front , and any free kick in the opposition's half will involve the three big men getting in the box .
