Can't believe Davy Longwell is coming in for criticism. Hardest working guy at the club who has been doing 2 jobs for the past 6 months to help Teale out.
Trying to find talented kids when you're based in the shadow of the Glasgow ugly sisters must be a nigh impossible task. Don't think it's his fault either if the board fail miserably to get decent money for any of our prospects. Telling everyone we had to sell McLean for buttons to keep the lights on isn't going to help either.

Its been a busy season with Fans Zones, Anglo Scots Legends evenings, Strip design , Golf Days , lotteries, Open days and Topps Day all because we give our time free to help the club we love and support . Sometimes things get missed.

David Longwell has done a fantastic job with he youth development! There is no doubt that he should in his position of Head of Youth Development

They elect Popes quicker than we announce new managers. Hopefully white smoke over SMP tomorrow.

Jim Jeffries did absolutely nothing off note at Kilmarnock or latterly Dunfermline.

That was because we had Cheesy on the wage bill with his £10.000 + per week.

Mark Howard got a lot of stick from our all knowing support yet I always felt there was a good keeper in there.
He's doing not to shabbily now... way out of our league.
When are we going to learn to support players?

The Hearts comparison is quite interesting........they had a chairman (owner) and board that took them into administration and almost into oblivion yet a number of their fans had turned a blind eye (and in some cases actually supported) what was going on at their clubs. As a result they got deducted points, were forced by finances to play youngsters and got relegated. Their fans responded by buying season-tickets in numbers and turning up in record crowds.
We have a board who keep the club running without "real" debt and protecting our club from similar ills, a board that spends every penny the club makes on running the club and after a few bad decisions and appointments the club are relegated. I wish more of our fans would respond in a similar fashion to the Hearts fans.
Back the club and attempt to keep the revenue at as high a level as possible and give us a better chance at getting St Mirren back up to the top table.

Like most of you on this site I am a St.Mirren fan through and through, always have been and always will be. I am just as
disappointed at the season we have had from the BOD,s taking the fans for granted the managers we have had being responsible for the signings made and the lack of adequate tactics and the players lack of any fighting spirit, in all its been dreadful but St.Mirren are still alive and hopefully will do a lot better in almost every aspect over the next few seasons.
That's why my carer and myself purchased our season tickets this morning. COYS
