Mearns Saint reacted to TopCat in Morton v Saints 12 August
No keeper would have saved any of those 4 goals today [emoji28]
Two of them were penalties and two were tap ins after poor defending.
A lot of our players were to blame for our disgrace today.
Samson wasn't one of them. -
Mearns Saint reacted to Soctty in Darryl Duffy
I'm sure he'll biryani chasnis that come his way and poppadom in the net. Hope to see our players kissing the bhajis if they stop falling off our tops... Duffy won't start tomorrow, but will chapati door of the first team with his performances before long

If it's impossible to judge just now, how can you then claim that we don't have a star man?
Its nothing to do with happy clapping, you're just talking shite

Mearns Saint reacted to Magic Monkey in Darryl Duffy
How can you say we've not got a shining light this season, then when offered possibles, say it's impossible to judge after one game?! Surely that goes both ways.
Morgan was player of the year last year, so seems a likely candidate.

Mearns Saint reacted to Drew in Darryl Duffy
Morgan terrorised the Falkirk defence on Saturday. They were shitting themselves whenever he was on the ball.
Weren't you watching it on the radio?

Mearns Saint reacted to Callum Gilhooley in Season 17/18 St Mirren Kit
I`ve got to say that really is an embarrassment. Joma should be hauled over the coals for that. For a professional football kit to fail before ONE game has elapsed is an absolute Joke.
Whoever negotiated the deal needs to provide some answers pretty quickly..... from both sides .

Mearns Saint reacted to Sonny in Super Stelios
What a guy ....
The Cypriot star was back on the goal trail as the Buddies ran out 3-1 winners over Falkirk, firing the equaliser following Nathan Austin’s early opener.
The result was the Paisley side’s first win on the first day of the campaign since 2006, when they defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle away from home.
But Stelios says he didn’t pay the record much attention having become so accustomed to winning since joining the side in January.
Stelios said: “No, I wasn’t aware of the record because since I’ve been here we haven’t lost much. We win games.
“From what I know, and from what the manager has passed on to us, it’s all about having that winning mentality in the club and the dressing room.
“That was exactly how we wanted to start the season.
“We know we didn’t start the game well but we showed the attitude of a team that wants to be high up the league and achieve something this season.
“We came back and showed that we want to be up there.
“It was the best start we could have asked for.”
Having got their Championship campaign off to a flying start, Stelios insists that St Mirren must focus their attention on achieving promotion this season.
And the full back revealed he has been left impressed with the players around him in the squad.
Stelios added: “Realistically, with what we have shown and the players we have got at the club, we have got to be up there and among the play-offs.
“It is a strong league, with the likes of Falkirk being up there before and Dundee United and Inverness all wanting to go up too.
“There is a lot of talent in this side.
“We have a lot of potential with the likes of Cammy Smith and Lewis Morgan.
“The new guys too, Gavin Reilly, Ross Stewart and Jordan Kirkpatrick, they are still young and they have got ambitions.”
After opening his account for the season, Stelios raced towards the supporters in trademark fashion to celebrate with them.
And he has promised to do the same throughout the season as he looks to repay them for their loyalty.
He said: “Everyone knows what I think of the supporters – I love them.
“I think they have shown what I mean to them, they are glad that I am here, and I am glad to be here, so every time I score in front of them, I will run to them because they deserve the happiness and I want to share my goal with them.”

Mearns Saint reacted to Drew in St Mirren v Falkirk SPFL Championship. 5/8/17
Indeed.
The irony is that shull is happy to refer to Samson as a cup winning legend elsewhere yet would happily see him bagged after the first league game of the season.
Tiresome drivel.

Mearns Saint reacted to davidg in St Mirren v Falkirk SPFL Championship. 5/8/17
Big Ross Stewart did really well again when he came off the bench. It's great to have an option like him, he offers something different and is really awkward to play against.

Mearns Saint reacted to djchapsticks in St Mirren v Falkirk SPFL Championship. 5/8/17
To be fair, if Stelios was an opposition player, to a man we'd detest him. He's an utter bastard, always up to something to get under the skin of the opposition. I wouldn't be surprised if he drew the red card yesterday by saying something or doing something to warrant a response.
As it is though, I love the guy. We need a nasty side and Stelios is definitely our bad boy. A constant annoyance as a personality and no shortage of talent. What a guy.

We need less of your shite more than we need a new keeper.
He was at fault for the first goal.
Both Irvine (slip) and Stelios (awol) were also at fault.
Samson had a decent game thereafter and recovered well.
One save when the forward was through 1 on 1 was top drawer.
I don't suppose it is worth pointing out that he had to deal with at least half a dozen pass backs to his weaker foot... All of which he did without error.
Seriously..
Drop the agenda and at least pretend to be a supporter!
Are you really THAT deprived of attention you feel the need to reinvent yourself as the James Traynor of the forum?

Mearns Saint reacted to faraway saint in Rocco Quinn
It seems the majority see him as a decent player who's, unluckily for us and him, been blighted by injuries.
We didn't really have an option as it was stated that we have to free up some money before we can make any more purchases.
Again, a shame for all concerned and all the best to him.

Bit gutted by this to be honest. I can understand the decision but I have a great respect for Rocco particularly after playing despite needing an op last season. Nothing but Heart!!!
