  1. Tommy really has to get the fans back onside.....and resign
  2. On a lighter note, my 11 year old nephew said to me during the second half, "The singing sections no doing much singing". To which I replied "they need inspiration from on the park" and then Collum makes a contentious decision followed by a chorus of Willie Collum, your a Wa@#er from the choir. Aforementioned Nephew then says " So they got their inspiration then"...Had to chuckle, match day highlight sadly..
  3. Plummer could well be a decent holding midfielder at a higher level..would probably do us a good turn at centre forward
  4. Could it be that there is two camps now at the club...Greenhill road vs Ralston...Last season squad picture delayed awaiting a sacking and this season a Legend being seemingly pacified by being appointed club captain. There are deep rooted issues that will only be solved either by sale or a reinvestment of enthusiasm by the consortium. Either way it is going to be a long hard slog this season as a complete restructuring of the club is required.
  5. Funnily enough watching the Falkirk game now on telly...Cammy Murray has allowed tackles Goodwin would be straight red carded for ...another example that there is no consistency, even with the same referee. Official performance rating for refs should be published in match reports or league website
  6. This is the price we pay for the privilege of watching them on our screens..and the price of televised football ruining the game
  7. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/rangers/275976-spfl-pay-broadcaster-up-to-250000-per-season-to-show-rangers-games/ Oh Dear...Doncaster does it again
  8. This would be a cost cutting appointment at best and put the club in limbo awaiting change of ownership even more than it is now. The BOD should either find the right buyer pronto or commit to the future...both options easier said than done. Having now seen the tweet on the home page feed, it is in the form of a question...answer then is No
  9. Given the poor transfer record Danny has, finishing in 8th place is decent. He eventually stopped tinkering with the team every week and found a pattern over the last few weeks to get us over the line. A board who budget for 11th place, get 8th place and also want to sell up are not best placed to make any long reaching decisions. Another year is deserved, provided lessons of the past season are learned from. I do not see the point of another apprentice manager being appointed and all the usual suspects of unemployed managers don't inspire either.
  10. Well believe it or not there were some that wanted no direct contact with the police, which would have happened on the monday..
  11. The fact that it is a Premiership strip as opposed to a Championship strip may well help sell a few extra
  12. They were served an eviction notice last Friday and left over the weekend
  13. To think...Peterhead just last week won the league title in a canter...and on a fraction of the budget R..gers spent last season...
  14. Hooses..next to services club
  15. The last experienced manager we appointed did not set the HAYther on fire ... As some have stated above keep this Ferguson as far away as possible and when the time comes get the best affordable option.
  16. Best of luck for Gowser tomorrow but ffs learn your lessons
  17. Play to your best 11`s strengths and don't tinker...we don't have enough players for that. This applies to whoever is the manager.
  18. I think Thommo and Newton were booked for dissent, given the delayed reaction of the ref
  19. Another annoyance of today's abandonment is bookings still count...at least Collum ran out of time to book Goodwin
  20. The ref took too long to take what was the correct decision in the end.If we were losing all here would have welcomed the decision, those in doubt watch the highlights.I would have hated to lose that game or see a player badly injured because of the park. The ref tested the worst parts of the pitch fairly, giving the ball every chance to roll and bounce. He did not though move the ball as a player would, which I think would have shown the pitch up to more effect than his over dramatic posturing.
