I think I spotted your car the other day...
The tax disc is out of date - make sure the Blue Meanies or the Rozzers don't catch you!

I can think of very few lights were a roundabout would not be a better option. In Scandinavian countries they have been ripping up traffic lights and installing roundabouts. Bumps have increased, but serious accidents have plummeted.
Replacing zebra crossings with traffic lights is another one. Particularly when they pay a f**king lollypop person to push a button and cross the road.

Great piccys on the wall there, Drew, all you need now is one of Cav' rounding the Place de la Concorde on his way to winning the final stage in Paris. .
Sorry , no spare beer fridge, i might have a spare turbo' tho'. .

Yes , Drew, very salubrious. I'm taking it , that this building has adequate space for bike storage/maintenance and a maintenance stand, not forgetting a turbo' perhaps. .

saintnextlifetime reacted to Bud the Baker in Richard Brittan Wants Out
See Paul Lawson has left to join Motherwell (not exactly hot off the press I admit) but one of the reasons for his move - wanting to work with Stuart McCall looks funny now in the light of his possible departure.
I wonder how significant this'll be especially if Richard Brittain's injury proves to be a blight on his career. Unfortunately County's Top Six Finish means they will have a larger budget next season http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/22536548 which is a pity as I was hoping their best pllayers would be cherry-picked. I allus thought out SFL1 winning team in 2005/06 was much stronger than our 2007/08 team with Adam, Lappin, Broadfoot and Sutton gone.
Hopefully the Sproule factor has been used up (started with 5 in 5 but only scored 1 in the remaining 9) 'cos the 2013/14 relegation battle starts here.

saintnextlifetime reacted to Drew in Speculation Thread
Smith has plenty of opportunity to fill out. Defoe weighs all of 65kg in any event. Players can easily add bulk and strength if that is what is required . Smith is an 18 year old lad, FFS.
Walcott has been played as a forward.
Dargo was prolific for ICT and I imagine you were as excited as everyone else when he signed for us (albeit it didn't turn out as we all hoped it would).

There is none. If they were related, it would have been mentioned by now.

saintnextlifetime reacted to RossTheBoss in Carey And Parkin First To Go.........
Because if your reserve 'keeper is 18 years old your 1st choice 'keeper has less incentive to be at the top of his game week in, week out. Having a two keepers of equal ability brings out the best in them.
C. Smith and Howard had good seasons when they were battling it out to be #1. Gallacher was excellent in his 1st season when he was up against Howard, and was rubbish in his 2nd season when DL made it clear Samson was in reserve. Sammy had a good season up against G. Smith, and hasn't been as good this season when the other 'keeper, has been unavailable for various reasons.
Just my hypothesis, mind.

saintnextlifetime reacted to div in Carey And Parkin First To Go.........
For me Carey is a player who needs to play week in week out in order to get the best from him.
He was outstanding against Celtic in the semi final, then he played on the Weds night win against ICT, our first in about a million years and then the comfortable win over St.Johnstone in the Scottish Cup, another team who we never normally beat.
Dropped for the next game away at Aberdeen (along with DVZ) and the winning run comes to an end as the goals dry up.
Then start our bonkers run of team selections in the lead up to the final.
Carey on the left and Teale on the right is a formidable combination
Add in his dead ball ability which is second to none and the fact he can fill in at left back and you have to wonder why he didn't play more often and why he is being allowed to go.
Very disappointing IMHO.

Saw a bit of it last night and predicted who'd get the bullet. From what I saw the whole thing seems very staged now and Sugar is almost a parody of himself with his own cliches , meanwhile he tells the rest of them he hates cliches. .
