Jumbo Whiffy

I would be very pleased to see callum sign a contract with us. Everything suggests this guy would score a few at this level. An impressive scoring record at every level he has played at. We had Parkin and Guy as back up to Thomohawk a couple of seasons ago and now we have exciting options in Marwood and Caldwell but Ball offers something different again so well worth a contract imo.
I think Marwood and Caldwell will both be getting 6 or 7 goals each this season (at least) and I could see Ball easily surpassing that given some time on the pitch with Wylde and Teale providing balls into the box from wide areas and then there is Thomas Reilly. It could easily be the best forward options we have had since coming back to spl.
I am looking forward to the new season. My glass is definitely of the half full variety. The naivety of another long summer of no St Mirren games.

I think Tess will prove to be a good signing , and maybe might do well playing as a sweeper and I think he would be very good at bringing the ball out of befence . I also think over the course of the season he might end up playing in about four different positions .
With regards to Wylde , I think he will be exceptional this season , not just as a winger , but also as up front just behind Thhommo or in a central attacking midfield role .
Whatever happens this season , I think it is our intention to be a good footballing side.

I was in Menorca with the family for the past 2 weeks, in Cala'n Bosch. My 3 year old insisted on wearing a saints top (to the point of a falling down tantrum if denied) most days.

I wish there were more rumours, more speculation.... anything. I'm bored and also fed up I keep checking on here every hour to see if there is any news!

I'd take Hasselbaink back. f**k it, he's fun to watch. Football should be fun.
He'd certainly fit in a 4-3-3 with Wylde left and Thommo down the middle.

My free bet of £10 went on the England game tonight.
Had to be placed on a first goalscorer bet or a correct score.
I decided to pick Uruguay to win 2-1 at odds of 14/1.
That, combined with Suarez any time, made for an enjoyable night. Although that last 5 minutes was nervy as f**k!!
Also gave me a correct score on Sky Super 6, and a correct score in the office prediction league, 10 points plus a bonus 5. Happy days.

Nice return from the Columbia game with what's known as the 'all eggs in one basket bet', £5 single at 7/1 on 2-1 Columbia, £5 at 7/2 on Columbia to win and both teams to score, £5 at 11/4 on James Rodriguez to score anytime and £5 on Columbia just to win at 21/20.

This is just ridiculous. How they managed to get relegated from the comfortable position they were in, firstly in the league, and then in the play off, is inexcusable. If ever there was situation where heads deserved to roll this is it.
I'm thrilled it was that arsehole Kevin Thomson who missed the vital kick. One of the most all round despicable wankers ever to set foot on a pitch.
