Hibs would of paid ICT a lot more compensation for Butcher than it would of cost to get Hartley from Alloa surely? Maybe ICT just fancied someone with a bit more experience.

Not that I condone cheating or anything but you are able to vote with different browsers. For example i voted using google chrome, safari and even internet explorer!

Is it not the case though,that he could of ended up with double the punishment if he appealed and was found guilty? The correct action has been taken (eventually), take it on the chin and move on.

Thats probably how we managed to sign Grainger, he was out for a long spell too wasn't he? They signings can be risky. Carey wasn't the same player after his injury at Huddersfield. I agree, another striker should be top of the list in January and get the goalkeeping issue sorted are the main priorities but in the long term the defence will need re-built.

This is the type of player we should be going after. He would improve the squad. He is solid enough for the level we are at, knows the SPL inside out and won't cost any money. He will dominate strikers, doesn't mind putting it about. Seriously who do people think we should be going after? We are a bottom 6 SPL team, we don't have the right to be turning our nose up at players like Kenneth. Goodwin isn't a defender and Mair won't be here for much longer. Long term Naismith will move to cb but we need to sort out our defence its been a problem since Danny has took over.

Can the management be questioned, why didn't they sub him when it was that obvious he was having a poor game? Sometimes its down to not wanting to shatter a players confidence but by keeping him on it might have an effect on Cheesy, hopefully not though.

Cheesy is very much like John Potter. JP strolled through games but when he made a mistake it normally cost us. I have always said I prefer the Mair and McGregor partnership but Cheesy has been solid from what I have seen of him this calendar year. He has improved so much even from the 11/12 season. We just need to write off this game and get behind him and the team at Motherwell.

Would be a blow but I didn't think we would have seen him in the stripes this season anyway so its been a bonus and a pleasure to watch him playing again this season. It seems we don't actually have too many central midfielders either. If Newwwwton is leaving us and McGowan in trouble just now that could leave us short. The board might want to sell McLean for a fee instead of letting his contract run out. Really tricky window coming up for the club. We do have a decent gap on Hearts but we aren't streets ahead of the play off spot.

Yeah was going to say Mehmet v Hearts in the LC semi. Ripped them apart,the whole team were exceptional that night. Junior Mendes tore Airdrie a new one anytime he played them, and the game against Clyde when he returned for us and scored a hat trick? He had his moments playing for us. Coco v Well is right up there.

Hopefully he can at least sign on for another year and if we get a good offer we can let him go if he wants to move on in the summer. Even if he was to leave at the end of his contract we should be due a big fee. Although Falkirk are still chasing their 300k for that diddy Mark Stewart.

Not much value for Germany to win it. Think Brazil and Argentina have to be heavy favourties. Spain and Germany are Europes best chance though. Gerard has been superb for Liverpool when I have seen them this season. Pulls the strings for them. England are a different kettle of fish though I don't think Roy knows his best formation and starting 11 yet. They could struggle getting out of the group stage if the draw is unkind on them.

Aye Falkirk have got one of they horrible plastic pitches now too so that should be able to handle it better than proper grass.

Not ideal but forces Dannys hand. Personally don't think Cheesy and Goodwin is our best partnership at the back.

The manager has to take the blame at the end of the day but make no mistake about it, some of they players aren't giving 100%.They are mugging the punters and manager off. f**king shambles.

Sounds as if he kept us in the game. Really believe he is getting some unfair stick.

Give McGowan the free role that has made him into the player he is. We are shooting ourselves in the foot before a ball is kicked. He is the player that makes things tick for us. I bet you Butcher,Johnson and Adams couldn't believe their luck when they seen him take up that position. We have Goodwin and Newton who can play in that role.Surely you play your best players in their best position?

Agree with most of that apart from the Gowser bit. Danny had him playing in the wrong position he was far too deep, ICT didn't even have to mark him out of the game, that battle was already won. Just need to keep the faith as the saying goes. I do worry for DL though a couple of more performances like that and it'll be more than a minority that want him out.

The SPL ground rules say these things can't be spoken about at a game. If your entering the ground you have to go with these rules. What gets me is its one rule for the OF and another for the rest of us. The Police and the SFA/SPFL are running scared of them.

I can't believe how many no ball game signs there are about these days. They are plastered all over Paisley. The councils have put a stop to kids playing in the parks/street too not just technology. How many parents these days are happy to let their kids go to the local park where there is needles and piles of dog shit lying about? Not to mention the amount of weirdos hiding in bushes ect. Even during the summer holidays i've hardly seen any kids having a game kick about in parks ect. 10-15 years ago i'd be out all day playing football with kids from my street or pals from school. It's changed days. It's hard to prove if any of the above has made an impact but I'd say theres a decent chance it has.

Says it all when Dougie thinks he had the last laugh against us. He never looked that fired up in a Saints jersey, if it takes him that sort of abuse to get motivated he has issues. He had 18 months to prove himself and were lucky if he played half as good as he did last week. Now he can flounder in the First Division for a while and lose to the likes of Annan, where I see he got booked for diving at the weekend. Carey has a couple of years on Dougie so hopefully he takes this chance at County and knuckles down. He has the ability.
