Think it's a bit unfair to lose your place in a St Mirren supporters 7s game when you go to support St Mirren, bearing in mind a game got cancelled for the Scotland v England match.

John McGinn was outstanding on the highlights. All three goals came directly from something positive he did. A very special talent. I don't think we realise just how good McGinn is and how good he could become. He has it all.

Personally I think Danny should get another contract, and the opportunity to continue to grow this young side.
But that aside...
ICT, the team many people want us to emulate certainly in terms of league performance, decided that John Hughes was the best person for the job. John Hughes!
If that's the best that's out there for a top 6 side, then who is out there for us? I certainly wouldn't want to see Danny replaced with an unproven lower league manager. As IMO that just stalls the club and team back in its progression.
I'd also disagree about waiting until the end of the season to make a decision. Many contracts in Scotland expire at the end of May, and letting Danny's contract run down until then. Before appointing a replacement or renewing the contract, would mean we potentially miss out on a number of players who are out of contract and set us back for the following season.

An outstanding performance from everyone in black and white today with a few special individual performances. Danny called it right after the Motherwell defeat. When we work hard and do the simple things well then we can be a formidable side who will give anyone a game on the day. Today we started brightly with a real bite in the tackle, pressing all over the pitch and a willingness to win their own individual battles. Cup tie like atmosphere. Loved it!
We gave the inform team in the league a real going over and took our chances while kello pulled off some terrific saves at key times.
We are so lucky to have Thomohawk at the club. The best striker to play at the club in my 30 years of following St Mirren. The guy is immense. Always grafting for the team, well apart from first couple of months of this season when he and a few others appeared to down tools and wait for Danny to get the chop. A wee blip but his goalscoring record at this level has been sensational.
I am still in love with John McGinn. When McGinn is in the starting 11 we are a much better side. He must start every week when fit. An outstanding talent with a big future in the game.

Not a result many if any of us saw coming, but a great turnaround after the last couple of games. Good performance by the players and the management. Would love to see this roll onto Sunday. Skelp the Jambos and pocket six home points in a Christmas week. Gotta love our wee club on days like today

Am I correct in thinking that Danny is out of contract in the summer?
He's led us to our highest SPL finish and brought national silverware back to Paisley so surely we'll be offering him a new deal.
Wouldn't blame him for walking away after this year due to some of the ridiculous abuse he has been recieving! However his CV will look very good after his few years at saints working on a budget that's getting cut year on year and still manages to get results, a job offer from down south can't be too far away!!

Deary me, you can't honestly believe McAusland is our best centre half!
