I agreed with post, till you edited it. shull... Check to see if your landline's good enough/suitable for bt broadband infinity. That's phenomenally good for me: stable, 50 meg download speed/12upload and now they've thrown I n BT Sport for free. And simple to install, with a home hub wireless router. Also I use it in some hotels (that would charge for wifi access) throughout UK for free.
Thorizaar
Best way to save money on broadband is not to have it at all. I've never had it at home and still see no good reason to get it, especially now with the internet capability on mobile phones.

I've never had it at home and still see no good reason to get it, especially now with the internet capability on mobile phones. That's fine and dandy for the owner of the phone, not so for the rest of the household. Also the monthly cost of a phone can be considerable, depending on the usage. shull
Thank you Gents, you've all been very helpful. BT looking like the winner. I've got a month to decide. Cheers all.

I'm with virgin media now and all good

I'm considering BT but, as a past customer very wary of their "we don't give a fcuk" attitude which I experienced before.
