Bud the Baker
I opted out of the referendum thread before the vote. I haven't posted on it since and never on any thread gloated. I eventually posted on this one after a fortnight of listening to you and your like crying like babies every day and bemoaning the fact that you were virtually cheated. I felt there was nothing to gloat over anyway. Yes was never going to win. End of. Can you all now just shut up and get on with life. Lighten up a bit and stop behaving like spoiled children. I didn't say in any sense that you personally were a Scot Nat. Just that you sided with the no hopers. I told you at the beginning, and in the middle and at the end when you were all creaming yourselves that you were f**ked. You couldn't see the leaves from the trees. You could never convince the majority of Scots. Anyone with even a basic knowledge of economics could see how quickly the SNP's crazy policy would hit the buffers. But you still don't see it. Look back at the posts. I said 'I didn't say Scottish Nationalist Party' because I didn't suggest that you were a member of the eejit party. I was letting you off the hook. I know well the name of the party. But you all losers anyway. And bad losers. You still can't shut up. The Scottish majority spoke but I realise that a democratic decision for nationalists is very difficult to take on board. It was always so. Well obviously we don't share the same understanding of what gloating means. ****************************** As far as I can see all of us who voted for independence accept the result we just reckon that the inconsistencies of the Better Together movement will manifest itself in them being unable to deliver what they promised during the "panic weekend" or indeed a better future for Scotland. Demographics are on our side, much as they are with the Nationalist movement in N'orn Ireland - it's just a matter of time and which of us will be first to leave the Union. Free by '23! I meant until now. I'd stayed out of the outpouring of venom and vitriol which I knew would come big style after the inevitable No vote. I wasn't wrong. But starting new threads to carry on talking shite is in my opinion beyond the pale. Only Yes men seem allowed opinions nowadays.
Bud the Baker
I meant until now. Statin the bleedin' obvious but the post from October 2nd predates that of October 3rd. I'd stayed out of the outpouring of venom and vitriol which I knew would come big style after the inevitable No vote. I wasn't wrong. But starting new threads to carry on talking shite ABUSE is in my opinion beyond the pale. Only Yes men seem allowed opinions nowadays. SELF PITY Who is denying your right to an opinion and post it - I just believe it's wrong for the reasons given. All I can see you offering is abuse and self-pity

We're on different sides of the debate as usual, and as usual (sic) all you have to offer is bluster and diversion.................. What of the two points are "stretching things" and why? faraway saint
... he commented on the thread. How can you state that "only Yes men seem allowed opinions" immediately after "is in my opinion beyond the pale"? Or, are you claiming to be a Yes man now? I wasn't posting a comment, it was a suggestion to another forum member, as this is a reply to you, ya dafty.

salmonbuddie
Presumably you don't really need reminded of your rights but anyway you may of course continue to support whoever the hell you like. (Even R**gers?) Too far, Rick. I'll take all sorts of abuse in my stride (even "Nazi" and even though we all know whose side the real Nazis are on) but never, ever, call me an OF supporter. Or even imply it.

beyond our ken
Presumably you don't really need reminded of your rights but anyway you may of course continue to support whoever the hell you like. (Even R**gers?) The general election is set for the 7th.of May next year. Could we not have a break until then? Alternatively, someone could start a thread entitled 'All The Political Shite In Here' so those of us who don't want to read it can avoid it. It seems to pop up all over the shop. You could always stay away from the thread-that's the advice you gave me And there is a wee hint in the thread title that it is about politics. if you need stronger hints we could maybe get a parental lock or something put in Or maybe you are enjoying yourself too much smacking people round the ears with your daily mail rhetoric

How disappointing was it for you that there was no civil unrest at the polling stations-as you implied would happen before voting even began? Guest TPAFKATS
Just to reaffirm to the hard of thinking, this is a thread about tories, started due to what was on display at their conference this week. It's not about the referendum as that was last month. There is a thread for that if you wish to discuss it. If you don't want to read about the Tories, you are not obliged to read or comment. Feel free to opt out...

Stuart Dickson
http://www.heraldscotland.com/politics/scottish-politics/holyrood-must-wait-three-years-for-new-powers.25494906?utm_source=headlines&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=email%2Balert Good. I honestly hope that Holyrood gets no new powers beyond those outlined in the Scotland Act. I don't think Gordon Browns spiel prior to the referendum swung ANY voters at all. He had no authority to make pledges and as we saw with opinion polls Browns speech had little effect on the outcome of the vote. The No campaign was always predicted to win by a healthy margin, and a majority of 10.6% of a massive turnout is a very healthy majority. The reality of the referendum campaign was that Scots were driven to REJECT independence. The promise of more powers at Holyrood by a back bench Labour MP added nothing to their drive to tell politicians we were Better Together. Isle Of Bute Saint
Blue tory Red tory both bow to the elite of this country. Ex minsters from both red and blue work with private health care companies to get into the NHS in England and are paid handsomely for their services. Ex defence minsters both blue and red work in the arms industry and are paid handsomely. The elite who own the press print propaganda that most of the population buy into, the press work in tandem with Westminster. 99.9% OF MP's come from privileged back grounds privately educated, the boys club, very few come from a working back ground with a real view of what life is really like in the real world. This is what Scotland voted for unfortunately it has to be accepted. The only good thing is change is coming in one form or another
