HSS
Why is Kenny McLeans signed shirt being chauffeur driven from my house to the ground?
bluto
As it's the blessed Hayley Catherine Rose Vivian Mills birthday on that day, I will be otherwise occupied.
bluto
Her age on that birthday, of course. What else could it be wrt the sainted Hayley?
RickMcD
Her age on that birthday, of course. What else could it be wrt the sainted Hayley? I could never make up my mind about her. All her cute wee Shirley Temple type parts got on my wick. She did turn out OK but was Roy Boulting not supposed to have been 'very' friendly with her from a ridiculously young age? Anyway, happy birthday to her when it comes.
bluto
Wishful thinking? (and, if you were going to use her full name, you could at least have spelled Vivien correctly - you can be such a let down sometimes ) Mea Culpa. That was from memory which may not be as fresh as it was in the obsessed early Sixties... (I might even have missed one of her names, I was thinking - Mary?) alanmurray24
Will Iain Munro confirm that he is going , and then change his mind at the last minuteHad a 30 minute call from Iain early last night and he will get back to me next week. He would love to attend. A wee update on players that have now confirmed with us. Doug Somner, Jackie Copland, Alan Logan Jeff Curran, Campbell Money Jimmy Bone, Brian Docherty, Lex Richardson, Billy Stark, Alex Beckett, Peter Weir and Ricky McFarlane, of the others that played in the competition. We are waiting on word from Billy Thompson, John Young, Iain Munro, Mark Fulton, Bobby Torrance, Andy Dunlop. Frank McDougal is in Brazil and we are trying to contact him. Only player we have no contact with at the moment is John Dempster (anyone have contact with John) So it looks good for almost a full turnout from the players. beyond our ken
great to see all the players are still around and that this means something to them. That was probably the most talented line up of saints players. i was at both legs and have fond memories of both matches. But are we not in danger of descending into a Celtic-like re-celebration of glory from the distant past?
