kevo_smfc
From a Hibs news twitter account a couple of hours ago:St Mirren are one of 5 clubs who have contacted Hibs about taking Sam Stanton on loan. He has been highly rated, but seems to have fallen down in the pecking order due to new arrivals this season. Think he would be a great addition. Drew
Midfielder? Combative, and strong? If so, yes, sounds a good'n. If not, need not apply.
pozbaird
If four other clubs are interested, I assume one or two of them might be top flight clubs? Couldn't see Hibs loaning someone out to a direct rival if they could go to Killie, Partick, Accies type clubs.

scottd
Hibs may well loan him to us as we are not direct competitors, the only teams we are competing with are Alloa and Livi to try and stay up.

Presumably with a caveat that he can't play against them.
leolovesstmfc
If he's not good enough for the Hibs first team why would we want him?

norrie82
Cos we're absolutely dreadful in midfield? No
leolovesstmfc
We are rotten in midfield but getting a player on loan from one of your Rivals is not the way to solve that problem. This guy is obviously not in contention for a start at Hibs or they would not offer him out on loan! Think it would also give our rivals (Hibs) an insight as to what is going on at our club! Would he tell Hibs our tactics before we played them? After all he is a Hibs player! No stay well clear we need someone with proven experience in that position James McFadden or similar type player would be better than a Hibs reject! Kendo
Perhaps they might loan us John McGinn?
JJ McG
He's signing for partick.
ulysses
Not what we need. Ideally we'd be getting someone in with physical presence, experience, the ability to control a midfield, and creativity. Must be plenty about? No? scottd
He's signing for partick. Who cares? Getting players in for the sake of it is not the way to go about building a team. You'd have us with a squad of about 60 players ;-)
