What's morality got to do with it. I don't buy the stuff about this being about immigration. It's definitely not why I want out.

The morality argument was a huge part of the argument during the referendum.

The idea was loudly proclaimed that only Scotland cared about people whilst bad old England didn't.

Now I know not everyone on the Yes side held this view - I certainly didn't - but there's no doubt it existed.

Alongside this was the argument about how we were somehow more welcoming towards immigrants because "well we're Scots of COURSE we care more about people unlike those racist bastards in the rest of the UK".

By such means did many on the Yes campaign grab the moral high ground and denigrate anyone else who claimed the same thing.

You want to know why the No side were so pissed off with Yessers? There it is in glorious technicolour. The insinuation from Yessers was the No people were unpatriotic for not supporting the SNP's position, that they clearly hated the poor and that they clearly had racist tendencies towards immigrants.

The EU debate is being dominated by the issue of immigration.

Not by everyone but it's by far and away the major talking point for those on the No2EU side.

The SNP and Yessers are simply assuming that because Scotland is "more caring and less racist by default" that we'll obviously vote Yes whilst RUK will vote No. IndyRef 2 will then follow as night follows day and before teatime we'll have a socialist utopia where nobody needs to work and benefits will paid to everyone.

If under those circumstances Scotland votes No to the EU, we will have done so in a debate totally dominated by immigration issues.

If the RUK votes Yes, then THAT will make Yessers (and the SNP specifically) look like absolute bell ends.

IMO it will end independence in a stroke.

Yessers have more to lose over this than David Cameron and it's all because Yessers took the moral high ground approach 2 years ago.

I would not mind if he was man enough to come face to face unfortunately he refuses , just a wee chat.

For a person of his age not far off 60 years to go about posting on the forum as if still in a school playground shows him up. Embarrassing and childish.

I have the guy on ignore just a shame when he is quoted I have the misfortune of seeing it.

Most of my posts are getting silly quotes have done for years from this over aged child not far off 60 years, no more than four words does he ever seem capable of typing, from what I hear has more ignores than any other blackandwhitearmy member. However if this is what gives the over aged child not far off 60 years his stiffy then let him carry on his behind the keyboard playground world.

Its a good idea have worked with a couple of currency's that use plastic notes. At first it seems strange almost as if they are out of some board game , however they are practical don't rip , don't fade and maybe best of all washing machine friendly .

I worked in England for 5 years and found the ignorance of the bulk of the population regarding Scotland staggering. They think it's 90-odd% Brigadoon with a wee touch of No Mean City thrown in for the mayhem. It changed my political outlook, I realized the two countries can never be equal partners and you either have to accept being the tail of the dog or vote for Independence.

It may not be the correct column to express my view on the EU referendum but as I feel that as one of approaching thirty member countries we wouldn't be so swamped as we are in the UK. We could form alliances with other small nations and we wouldn't be in thrall to the right-wing hegemony that the London centered UK Tory party has become.

I was in London with my boy last weekend to see Chelsea v Newcastle, and every restaurant and shop that I handed over a Scottish note in I was questioned as to wether the money was genuine or not. Surely by now most of the establishments in England must've come across Scottish notes before.

I returned the same shocked response when I received a Bank of England note back in change, which childishly made me feel better. I got a wry smile on a couple of occasions and a 'fair do's' in acknowledgment.

This also happened to me on a bus in milton keynes a few years ago, the driver would not take a scottish tenner to pay for my weekly ticket, he told me to get off the bus and I refused and I stood next to his cab refusing to leave and inviting him to physically throw me off, he did not do so and the bus moved away to the next stop, I remained at his cab and invited him to throw me off again, his sphincter was heavily twitching, at this point another passenger gave him a pound as everyone on the bus was mortified and embarrassed, I was raging and wanted this driver cùnt to lay his hands on me so I could annihilate him during the ensuing struggle. .

On completion of my journey I took the drivers number and registration and made a complaint to the bus company, they said he should have taken the cash and apologized to me.

If you are trying to negotiate a new deal on better terms for yourself you need leverage. Cameron is clearly using the referendum and the possibility of a UK exit to try to force the EU to grant the UK new concessions. Now as Michael Portillo keeps saying the obvious way for the UK population to vote in the EU referendum is to vote to leave because history shows that will get us the most concessions and from Europe and it's extremely likely that as happened elsewhere in Europe we'll simply be presented with referendum after referendum until we eventually vote in favour of being in.

Calling off the referendum would signal surrender to the EU and it would leave us open to all manner of shafting.
