saintnextlifetime Posted December 2, 2016 Report Share Posted December 2, 2016 (edited) I watched a program years ago , about how Sachs father who was Jewish, decided to take the family to Britain in 1938 to avoid the Nazi holocaust. His father was a very brave and astute man and it was perhaps years after the event that Sachs realised how lucky they all were - which was quite moving. . When Cleese asked Sachs to play the Spanish waiter , Sachs asked to play a German waiter , the compromise was Manuel got to wear the big fake moustache. .
