May 11, 20242 yr Second last game of the season. After today's disappointment not too sure how this'll go. At our best we can take the points but if we don't turn up then it'll be nothing.
May 15, 20242 yr Author After the boost from last nights result I'd hope we are going all out for a win tonight. We are where we are down to the manager and players, another 3 points tonight would really cement the difference between 5th and 6th place. Looking forward to it.
May 15, 20242 yr With the pressure off us and Hearts already guaranteed their place, I hope we go out, put on a good performance and get the result. players and staff deserve a big applause at the end regardless
May 15, 20242 yr Will be interesting to see what kind of team he plays tonight (and Saturday). What I’d like to see: - Play James Scott from the start in both matches. See if we can find any indication of decent player in there. Looks like we are stuck with him so may as well give some minutes. - bench for Baccus, Strain & Hemming (assuming they are committed to moving on). Give them a bow as subs late in the Hearts game. - Same for Flynn, give him a goodbye to the fans, as a player at least. - any young prospects we can get a look at, starting? Not really hearing much of the youngsters recently, bar the ones out on loan.

After the behaviour of some fans re Scott I'd be inclined to do anything but give them another reason to get on his back.....I'd give him the pre-season to get his confidence back. Not so sure that Hemming is "committed" to leaving although that will be the decision of his parent club.

That’s fair, guess the flip side is, everyone will be in celebration mode so hopefully stay off his back. I imagine Hemmjng is the only possibility given todays signing & lack of game time for Baccus.

Yeah, I think Baccus is definitely away......I'd probably be tempted to start both him and Strain tonight and give them an hour and a big ovation when they go off, both been excellent for us overall.

I wouldn't with Scott. He needs to stand up and be counted. He has let his career drift and needs to get it back on track asap. Its up to him and nobody else.

May 15, 20242 yr Lets face it the manager worked with Toyosi and changed him from a waste of space on the roster to someone who people enjoy watching play and gives us a real different option up front. So if anyone can make Scott get back on track then its him

I was shouting at him & Jamieson though, both were utterly terrible when they came on. I think that’s still allowed in the big boys game in 2024.
May 15, 20242 yr And can we please try and get along with each other for once and not spam, troll or shite all over the matchday thread for a change?
