Just having breakfast at Drumoig, the sun is shining, Dundee is in the distance. Oh what a great day for a Saints victory.

How's about giving the knicker wetting a rest. Maybe we already have a robust centre half on our books, Jim Goodwin. He was one of the standouts during the League Cup run at centre back. MacAusland has been taking the brunt of sooooo much stick, maybe reverting back to his partnership with Captain Jim is the best solution. If you analyse goals we have lost McGregor has been at fault as much as Cheesy, his positional play is woeful at times.

I watched the incident closely and did not see "the grab with both hands", I did see a very slight brush, which would not have caused him to drop a drink if he had one. The ref could have booked Carrick twice, when he dived holding his face (when Goodwin was booked) and for thr penalty incident. Also, why Nicolson was not booked for diving in the first half is also a mystery.
After last night nights match I am of the opinion there is an anti St Mirren bias (especially Goodwin) now being illustrated on a regular basis. I am not condoning Goodwin re the Dundee Un match, but the number of times he has been penalised by refs when not guilty is becoming more than a coincidence. Opposition players are being allowed to gain free kicks by falling/diving when Goodwin is in their local. The club MUST appeal the red card from last night and raise the general matter of bias against the club. It should be very easy to illustrate examples.

Let's grow up, how many of you shout hip, hip hooray when you get to work. It's the product that counts, you can debate if that is good enough.

Those who have left have either been of a low quality or have an attitude problem, sometimes you just have to put your hand up and admit some players are not good enough. Danny has made quite a few errors re players he has signed, which manager hasn't? I agree we are short in numbers and hope some better players can be brought in ASAP, nut please not just players to fill jerseys.

Agree with most of the reviews re. our display collectively and individually, the exception being Darren Mc Gregor. I lost count the number of times he gave away possession, I accept he wasn't our worst but he has performed much better than today. Our retention of the ball was pathetic, the worst I've seen this season. I will give Wylde the benefit of the doubt as it was his first match, but the number of times he ran down blind alleys was bad.

It just goes to show how opinions differ re. players. I will watch with great interest how Lee Mair performs on Saturday. I hope we see players running at him as IMO that is when he is most vulnerable.
