I think we will miss them but we haven't seen the current crop of youngsters play over a season yet, it may be playing regularly in the Championship with a higher probability of winning will see us get more out of them than we saw regularly from McLean and McGinn. I think we'll miss the money we should have got for them both more though, but you can't make players sign contracts that are beneficial to the club.

Former BB member who presented the prizes at the end of the year at my son's BB company around the early 2000s, great bloke, hope he makes a full recovery.

I have colleagues who consistently attract the most difficult or time consuming work, I'm sure everywhere has them, the shit magnets, it isn't a question of their ability just pure dumb luck in the main, cheesy is the footballing equivalent of that, all things being equal he was generally ok and occasionally good, but if there was ever anything untoward going to happen in the defence you can be sure he was always close by, may be out of his depth, may be bad luck, who knows. The lad however, gave his all for the cause whether he was up to it or not and I hope he goes on to have a long career at a level he can succeed at without the abuse he received fro trying to do his best.

I agree that if he's found guilty of assaulting a co-worker then he deserves every punishment he gets, what bothers me though is that if the shows have already been filmed why can't they be shown, we've paid for them through the license fee after all, unless of course he gets paid by episode shown!!

Fill in the corner between south and west stands and make it safe standing and allow that area to generate the missing atmosphere, used to be the 'daft lads' section at Sunderland and generated plenty of noise, would allow those keen to have a singing section the area to do so an join both stands together. Also better facilities under the stands (TVs?) to keep customers where they'll spend before the match begins.

Travelling up from Durham for this one always enjoy the arctic climate, never expect anything but you never know!!

To my opinion I think we've covered all the arguments surrounding Ched Evans but I don't think he'd be a fit with the ethos of our club and desperate or not (both parties) I don't think we could afford him anyway!!

Been to New York twice and Vegas once loved both but NY is my personal favourite, if you do go don't miss the Circle Line Tour, 3hr boat trip around the Manhattan Island will show you things you wouldn't otherwise see. Whatever you do have a great time...oh and Stu has recommended SF to that's got to be a point in favour of New York!

I've been in the North East for almost all my working life and the people I have worked with over the years always look out for our results, I got a host of conglatulatory emails after the League Cup win and they've never assumed i'd be a fan of one of the bigot brothers.......an enlightened lot!

Love this thread, like some of the others lived in Glenburn in the 70's and early 80's and it was a great place to grow up, completely different look to the place now though.....flatter for a start!!!!!
