habbiesaint got a reaction from Buddymarvellous in Saints V Dundee 23Rd August.
Played superb against Motherwell on the opening day, numerous decent chances, prob should have had a couple at least, same again today, could easily have been 3 or 4 and Dundee couldn't have complained, Drury did ok on his debut with a bit more composure could have had 2, Wasn't at the Hamilton game so can't comment.Overall i'm obviously dissapointed with no points on the board yet but there's a lot of positives to be taken and hopefully the chances created will be turning to goals sooner rather than later. I'm certainly not going to be calling for the gaffer to be axed any time soon.

It seems Saturday is all too easily forgotten and the typical knee jerk reaction slips into overdrive.
Danny Lennon must be glad he's out if this shite.

Full time 0-2.
I don't feel like the scoreline was a fair reflection on the match, we should have lost by more.
We were awful. That's the worst home performance I've seen from us since we last lost at home to a bottom 6 side - last August at home to Thistle.
We never got going at all, couldn't get the ball in the middle of the park and just couldn't create anything. A bad day at the office all round.
Certainly not pushing the panic button yet. Without wanting to make excuses, we were missing our two most senior players tonight (Goodwin and Thompson), and Wylde went off injured in the first half. Thommo and Goody will be back for the next match, thank goodness, we miss them both terribly.
10 day break now, time to sort it and regroup for our next game, Dundee at home.

habbiesaint reacted to TsuMirren in Cheesy
Having read some amount of pish about him on this forum, it was good to see him have a fine performance today. We were a lot more composed at the back today, with Cheesy and Plummer both doing very well. Here's hoping he continues to develop, having Plummer alongside should help.

Everyone on here is entitled to an opinion and the site is loosely moderated but FFS this is bang out of order. Celebrating one of our own getting injured is pathetic.
Edit to add - user has been banned, no need to report the post any more. 3rd warning for him so he's out the door.

I thought the trialist showed up well. Confident, good passing, strong. Its only a pre-season friendly but he did ok for himself.

habbiesaint reacted to Sonny in New Contract For Lennon - Got To Be 2 Years
Before a decision is made by the BoD I would like to think they would interview the man and ask Danny why they should offer him a new contract. This would give those that want rid of him a chance to say exactly why and give Danny the chance to convince them that he has learned from his mistakes. To get rid of him without an interview is cowardly and Danny deserves greater respect than that. Please BoD - do the right thing.

Gary Locke BBC......
Lennon's future is being discussed by the St Mirren board but Locke insists he is the man for the job.
"He has kept them in the league again, won them a trophy last season, what more can Danny do?
"If St Mirren had been relegated, you could understand it. But he has secured their safety and if you are being realistic, keeping St Mirren in the Premiership is a fantastic achievement.
"As well as that, they had that great run to the final where they beat us last year. Allied to that, they have brought through some great young players too.
"I just find it all baffling."

habbiesaint reacted to Lord Pityme in New Contract For Lennon - Got To Be 2 Years
Still waiting for a short list of suitably qualified candidates from the Danny Haters to replace him....
They need to be capable of landing a national trophy and be clear that a seventh place Finnish would be deemed a disappointment, and reason to terminate their contract.
Who,s gonna start us with say Kenny Shiels? Isn't he one of the diddies previously touted?

habbiesaint reacted to Drew in St Mirren V Ross County, Sat 3Rd May 2014
Spot-on. Some arsehole in the family stand was shouting abuse at Danny after the subs. FFS, we have some real throbbers in our support. On the positive side, what a hit by Wylde. A stunner that we had a fantastic view of. Had Kenny scored late on, it would have been another candidate for goal of the season. Goody was immense yet again.
We are within a hairs breadth now.
