Get cammy on for some dig in midfield

I thought we started the game playing incredibly deep and not pressing high enough.
Not until late in the half did we start pressing high up.
 

Been a very good game.
Both teams look dangerous on the attack.
Erwin is playing very well here and our wingers are causing problems.
Only some last gasp defending by Motherwell has kept them ahead.

It was an awful performance against crap opposition, with an amateur referee, on a pitch more suited to ice hockey. I'll take the draw thanks.

Would have been happy with a point before kick off.

To get a point having lost our first choice full back, played poorly on a frozen plastic pitch, away from home, I can't see too much to complain about really.

Yes it was a terrible performance but sometimes you just have to grind out a result and in terms of the league, with results elsewhere, it was a very good point.

Huge game next week if we have any pretence to be clear of a relegation battle.

To be honest Oaky, after a few teething problems (which was perhaps to be expected given how quickly these arrangements had to be out in place), I think the quality of the streams has been vastly improved this season. 

Surely QoS allowing that prick Galloway PLUS his family attend their game at the weekend is a blatant breach of public health procedures yet despite police saying they had been made aware of the breach (no further action bar a word in their ear basically) not a word from the SPFL. Seems odd.

Absolutely.
They were fantastic instinctive saves that gave us a foundation to build upon.
County were on top at the time... and he must have broken their spirit with that double save.

I was gutted when Vaclav left and would have broken the bank to keep him.

I feel for Morais... I truly do.
Nothing has really gone his way.
If the ball hit Obika on the backside it would end up in the net.

If the ball hit Morais on the backside he would get sent off for handball!

He did some great work today and gave their defence a torrid time... but yes.. at times his decision making was poor and his final ball was wasted more often than not.

YET... someone criticised us for not shooting from outside the box... Something Morais did twice, bringing out decent saves from their keeper.

He continues to perplex, but I refuse to slate him as he gives his all every time.

But they worked hard and ground out the result.

We clearly weren't shite.
Any neutral watching tonight would be unable to tell which team had the bigger financial budget by 3 times.
We are competing in every game now. Nobody, not even Rangers, have made us look second best for a couple of months.
And now we're actually creating chances and looking like scoring.
The progress is remarkable. We have a fabulous manager and a good squad with depth. That is absolutely progress for us.

Only one team were looking to win that 2nd half and it wasn't Hibs.
I'm no saying we created much, but neither did Hibs. 
If you look at the substitutions both teams made, that should tell you enough.  Hibs were content shutting up shop for more or less the 2nd 45. If Durmas had taken that great chance he had,  then it's a different game. 
I never once said we peppered their goal,  I said it was a tight game that we deserved a draw from.
On to Dingwall. 

I only saw the last 25 mins, but thought we were well in the game. Even Morias looked good. A wee bit of luck and we could have taken a point.

Like Nicola - I'm kicking myself - did not pay attention to kick-off time and only saw the last half hour.
From what I saw in that time I thought we played well but we missed Doyle Hayes' composure and direction in midfield.
Having said that, I thought MacPherson and Erhahon played well, as did most of the team.
Based on this form we are more likely to move up rather than down the table before the end of the season.

Anyone else think Junior Morias has done a superb job coming off the bench, today and against Aberdeen in the cup.... Actually looks a decent player imo...

Well done Saints - subs made a big difference - pleased for Erwin - and Junior’s energy helped us over the line - two I’m usually critical of.

So much for us being so solid at the back - I'd bring on Cammy in the 2nd half

I am not looking to be antagonistic we are all st mirren  supporters i am just not a lover of negative talk just because its an easy option i just want us to do as well as we can in every game 47 years later i should no better lol 

Maybe if the delivery to Obika was more accurate,  he'd have a better chance of scoring. Put in a good shift today and we definitely looked less of a threat after he went off.

We will be okay, the team have been playing attacking football the last few games. Not to worried yet.

What match were you watching?
 We are not the finished article just yet but we are night and day better than last season.
We had few failures today other than the 3 strikers.

Connolly and Durmus are starting to show up in games now. I think we might get another 2-1 victory 👍🏻
