barrhead saint got a reaction from Eaglesham saint in Bid accepted for Kyle McAllister?
Agreed. I think 200 k, plus add ons, plus a sell on, is a decent figure for someone who hasn't played a huge amount of games for us, and no longer wants to be here.
Unfortunately loyalty doesn't come in to it these days, especially with the wages on offer down south.

Spot on bud. A few games in the first team and the young guys want away. Disappointing as we do like to think some of the team are playing for the jerseys - particularly the boys that come through the academy from a young age. No doubt we will be slammed as deluded. Personally I think £200k is pretty decent in this case particularly if there is a sell on. Still doesn't make you feel great about being a Saints fan though.

I'm not entirely sure, but perhaps Hamilton or Livingston's fans don't spend 90 minutes shouting abuse at their more talented players. -

I wouldn't bother, just someone having a hissy fit.

That wouldn't suit a lot of people on here. Our 'support' does seem to have a large number of negative whingers.

Good to see you giving them a chance.

Might need him as a player assistant to bolster midfield numbers.

barrhead saint reacted to Stuart Dickson in St Mirren v Falkirk Championship 1/10/16
I thought Hutton had a decent game yesterday. He certainly wasn't the worst Saints player by a long way. I'm not sure why Naismith sails by without criticism. He was blowing out of his arse 10 minutes into the game. Shitting out of tackles to the extent he really is going to get badly injured one day, Dreadful passing, and his crossing always hit the first man. Several times in the game Hutton was looking to pass to him and he refused to move, and worst of all for me with the score at 1-1 St Mirren won a corner. Every Saints player went forward leaving a Falkirk player on the halfway line on his own. Langfield screamed for 2 to come back and defend. Irvine obliged, and Clarkson had to cover second spot cause Naismith refused to get back. Now I don't know about the manager, but I'd rather have Clarkston in the opponents box and Naismith out of there but teamwork doesn't appear to be in Naismiths head.

I'd concede I am in the minority mate, that doesn't really concern me, all about opinions and all.
I backed all the other managers long after most had given up on them and in the most part everyone else was proven right with the exception probably of Gus.
I'd like to see what difference MacKenzie & Quinn make when they are fit. It's a wee bit unfair to judge the manager on his transfer dealings in the summer when two of them haven't even kicked a ball.

barrhead saint reacted to pozbaird in Buy The Buds
My view remains the same. For my £12 a month I don't want a 'I helped buy the Buds' certificate to frame and put up on the wall. I don't want my name on a board. I don't want a pat on the head and a 'well done'. I don't want consulted on every single decision made, from appointing managers to changing the brand of lavvy paper used in the stadium.
I want the current incumbents who cannot even get a hall of fame panel printed in over three and a half years to fcuk out of the place, and have them replaced with a new SMiSA/GLS team who want to be there, will surely display a more pro-active leadership model, will engage with the support, and will give the whole bloody place a shot in the arm, and we can feel at least part of something with a bit of life and drive about it.

Some people will only appreciate how good Mallan was for us, after he's left us. Similar to McLean and McGinn.

Would agree with most of that.
Watching Xavi and Iniesta pass it between them half a dozen times on the halfway line, without the opposition moving is boring in the extreme. (I know I'm probably in the minority there)
