We do seem to have a lot of whining individuals in our support.
Supporting our team is a labour of love, as it always will be.
We have to roll with the bad times as we do with the good times.
As it is, we're fifth, yes fifth in league and we're going through a difficult spell. 
Some of us have spent years following Saints through times like the 90's when we were so much worse than the current situation. That puts it into perspective for me.
Having said all that, maybe our whining support get some sort of joy out of behaving in this manner, so if it gets them through the day, then fill your boots.

Well, given that the bus leaves at 9:00, it looks like we'll be heading for Pittodrie this morning. Looking at the weather forecast it appears it is the worst scenario. Game might be on. We might make it there. The weather is set to turn bad at 3:00pm so we could have a problem getting back home. Honestly? With the way we have been playing, if I was going on my own, I'd give this a miss and suffer losing the gate money but, as is normal with youth, my grandson is determined and, dare I say,  optimistic about both travel and, more curiously, the result. And I canny even have a drink to cheer my soul.

Given the weather forecast, credit to all those travelling to Pittodrie. Hope everyone gets there and back safely.
Let's sneak in, nick a point (or more) and sneak back out again before they realise what's happening!

He's been the most consistent performer all season hardly ever makes a mistake, granted he's not the best with ball but off it he's by far the best defender at the club.
The partnership with him and strain was great and the reason we were doing so well, I'd say most of the goals we lose are from the left hand side of the box..

Well, as good as it was to be able to attend this evening, I was left with the dreadful st Mirren of old. 
killie pressed us easily in the first half and were very well organised. they were the team we were in the first ten games of the season. 
what is, in my view, hard to take is lack of commitment and effort from many of our players tonight. Baccus, for example, didn’t even get his socks dirty and clearly not wanting to get injured before international duty. 
Our captain, for whatever reason, has lost it all positioning, ball control, passing. The boy needs a break for his own good. 
from the first whistle we didn’t look up for it. 
tansers creativity has been stifled and Gogic is wasted in defence. 
all in all there are no positives to take from this game and credit to the vocal away support. 
back to the drawing board I’m afraid and based on current form a dramatic slide down the table looks imminent. 
good to be home for a game though 

 

Another worrying performance, devoid of ideas all over the pitch. Even more worrying the manager keeps bleating on how we don't need to change anything. 
Does he not think that teams have now worked out how to play against us? Yet he sticks by the same old system week after week (albeit with different personnel). We have 6 or 7 options up front but being honest only 1 or 2 are fit to wear the shirt.
O'Hara's captain's armband must weigh him down as he is nowhere the player he was on his current form. Though we could give him some help in there by replacing one of the three stooges up front and put an extra player in there.
How about a good old fashioned 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 Robbo? As it cannot be any worse than the rubbish we have been served up since early October.

We did stop punting it in the 2nd half, so fair play. 
I think Mcmenamin and Mandron did make a difference, but again we've come away with nothing.
Our form is currently woeful and we could easily come out of the next 4 games with 0pts (Aberdeen away followed by Celtic and Rangers at home and then Hibs away). A relegation battle is on the cards now unfortunately.

Oh great. Here comes Mandron. That’ll be on the basis of him coming on the last two games and not touching the ball.  f**kin brilliant. 

I agree with all of that except “we can’t buy a goal” which I’d extend to we can’t buy a chance. 
We completely dominated that first half and had the vast majority of what I’d call positive possession, but we’re back to the bad old days of getting to the final third and having no clue. And as used to happen, the team that has barely been in the game, goes up a scores with their only chance through a combo of them having something remotely resemble a goal scorer and our poor defending. Killie had a wee flurry after the goal while we gathered ourselves and then we were back to us dominating the ball but doing f**k all with it. 
It’s so frustrating and really feels like St. Mirren teams of old. 

Why have you omitted our strikers from that list  

Mandron been on 14 mins and still to get his first touch,  never mind he's deadly in front of goal
