Dreadful from start to finish. Hard to believe 10 of those players started and played so well on Saturday.
We missed the liability so bad tonight.
Midfield was terrible, young Brown had a nightmare, feel sorry for him. I hope he doesn't feel too down as he wasn't alone.
Cheesy had a nightmare 15 minutes at the start of the second half, caused 1 goal and nearly caused another.
There we nothing in the bench tonight to make you feel we could change this. We lack depths to the squad. When everyone is for we have a decent starting 11 but a couple of players out and we're up against it.
Thank feck next weeks game is off. Gives us time to get players in, get players fit and sort ourselves out as we badly need it.
Conclusion - new season, same shite.

I take back what I said about Goodwin being a liability we really needed him.
Totally not good enough tonight. Thankfully we have few weeks of August left, get some experience in.
Hope tommy gets hiss ass in gear reminds me of lennons first season with the Cowdenbeath signings. Not panicking yet but worried. Hamilton are like kille, aberdeen etc a physical side. We hid away.
Too much expectation on McLean and McGinn - need experience.

As far as Goody is concerned unfortunately it has got to the stage that once he gets booked he needs to get hooked as he is too much of a risk :-(

Worry like others about Goodwin, he's got to sort his discipline out now he's coach, bloody liability. I can take a sending off for two yellows for fouls, not dissent tho. He's let the side down....again.....not to mention the fact he's meant to be displaying leadership qualities and leading by example these days.

I can understand why Dilo hasn't signed on. He would be pushing for the 1st team position, but Kello would have to get the nod unless injured or experiencing a slump in form. Dilo will reckon he could get 1st team football elsewhere, or, if having to settle for 2nd place, more poppy for taxis.

Fair enough Gillies should have played at a higher level but he was decent for us.
Simon Lappin doesn't deserve to be on a list like this either. Since he left we have struggled to fill his position. Only Kenny McLean comes close to matching the quality of his crossing and technique of hitting a ball.

Penny pinching decision. Not happy with it, but then that's simply because my expectations were unrealistic and too high!
If it is TC then ill get right behind him, he will tie up our best players and clearly the lads like him so all the best to him. 7 or so assistant posts and one managerial one - I'd say he must be hungry and convinced he can do a better job and to be fair he does know us well enough so all in all I'm warming to it.

Far to early for Murray and what has he done to convince the board he is a better choice than DL?
Murray is still cutting his teeth, doesn't have a magnificent win ratio so whilst no one would deny he is a great young manager in the making he's only 33 and this job is too early.

Danny Lennon is the nicest man in the game no doubt. Great interview, on balance (dodgy transfers aside of which there has bn many) I think we should give him another year

I was for Danny going but my gut is saying give him another year.
My fear is who would replace him?
I dont trust the board to appoint someone better.

That interview on Radio Scotland was really powerful and I found it quite emotional. We are talking about a mans job here... his bread and butter... his means of providing for his family... and yet he has no idea what is happening.
He was given umpteen prompts to criticise the uncertainty... and yet never once took the bait.
He oozed class and dignity throughout that interview and I have nothing but respect for the man.

I understand that SG assumed there would be a consensus and clarity agreed today at the meeting and made his comments because he was very confident. However, at the meeting other board members upset at both his confidence and assumptions so a clear decision was not met.
Its petty, its point scoring and chest puffing but the bottom line is its not good for the club.
Whatever we think of the managers performance over the past 4 years no one can say that DL hasn't always supported the club and conducted himself in a professional and resonant manner. this is his livelihood a he works in an industry wholly based on reputation and results. He deserves better from this club.
I am annoyed that the Board are in disagreement on this and cannot act professionally and deal with HR matters in the confidence they deserve.
