Perhaps its a confidence issue because he really does have a touch like an elephant.  On the odd occasion his touch isn't rotten his hold up play can be half decent.  He could be a decent player, he really could.......just couldn't trap a bag of cement.  Perhaps he just needs a bit of confidence, hopefully he will score a hat trick the day and turn into a world beater.....I say perhaps!

No chance. Over the years I’ve always enjoyed the build up to matches more frequently than the games themselves.

Sad for anybody to go through this, especially sad for an ex player who was someone I looked up to throughout his career.
Met him quite a few times at Kilbirnie golf club, always a gentleman and always smiling.

Also from the late 60s I coded computers - and you had to ensure to get the basic languages accurate before offering it to a machine that didn't have Scottish accent.
I feel sure that sharpened my editing eye.
 
I mis-spent several decades leading writers' groups in Universities, Schools and elsewhere. And I made a meagre income from acting as  a script doctor for decades.

A wee bit of special praise to Cammy on yesterday's performance. His few appearances recently have not been too impressive mostly because of too many petty fouls and bad passing. But I do love his commitment and the fact that he is only one of a couple players in the team willing to have a shot from outside the box. Yesterday he wasn't perfect however there was a huge improvement in his overall game and a peach of a goal. It's good to see players take things on board and try and improve aspects of their game.

Marcus Fraser has been excellent today. Great defensively and a few mazy runs.

If there is one word to describe tonight's game and that is, 'FRUSTRATION'.
I'm afraid Goodwin misread the game at the beginning of the second half and waited much too long in getting the subs on.  I felt Connolly should have come on for Erwin and Flynn for MacPherson who hit too many floating balls into the box.
Reminiscent of the semi final in seeing changes that should have be made much much earlier.  Two points lost instead of one point gained.  Jim....oh, never mind.

Second half we were not nearly good enough.
Very sloppy play under no pressure in midfield. The amount of times we gave the ball away with slack passes and put needless pressure on the defence was unacceptable.
I thought that Durmus was our best player, but he can't do everything on his own.
 

Flynn and probably Connolly should have been on as soon as we scored as Obika, McAllister and Erwin were constantly losing the ball. None of them seem to like a one touch pass choosing instead to run into trouble. We threw that away.

Get Connolly and Flynn ON NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

If Flynn is fit to play then I can't agree with MacPherson playing as first choice.  AGAIN, Hamilton are big and strong and MacPherson is too lightweight and not aggressive enough.
