Scotland reacted to DLBud in Trialists Update
FFS! Why are people so f**king quick to hose our club at any opportunity. The likelihood is that nobody on here knows the facts so it's all just conjecture but don't let that get in the way of a good story about a young player who has split opinion among those who've seen him.
Maybe calling his agent was on somebody's "to do" list for today and they haven't got around to it yet. Who gives a f**k?

Scotland reacted to Drew in Trialists Update
The other potential consequence of this apparent failure to treat the lad with a bit of respect is that it'll hardly encourage others to make the investment required to come along and try things out at SMFC.
I'm far from impressed on hearing this.

After last weeks busload we are just waiting on them getting through the jam at the channel tunnel. -

Scotland reacted to magnus in Boys Or Men?
I think we will know better after the Rangers game when challenged by good players. Jack and Sean have done really well and look skilful but we have lost a couple of easy goals down the middle. Personally, I think an experienced centre half would make us stronger.

Although we've come to the end of the road
Still I can't let you go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you

You can.
Ian Murray's transfer window should be judged on the 1st of September and not before.
A lot of loan players won't become available until other clubs have done their business. For example Aberdeen might only let us get Shankland if they get another striker in themselves. Equally, there will be free agents out there who will be hoping to get a better deal than ourselves. Can we fault players for not committing to us incase something better comes along? Nope.
Some of our best signings of recent times have been made late in the widow. At the minute we should have a strong enough team to get through on Saturday, then we have two weeks to get ready for Ibrox. Plenty of time.

Scotland reacted to Saint Garf in Burnley
The Burnley twitter feed mention one of the trialists, Lasoasa(?), putting a cross into the box, we should sign him.

Scotland reacted to Frank McGarvey' wonky legs in Speculation Thread
Sounds like Kofi could be related to Jose Quitongo or quite a few previous Saints wingers whose final ball was poor. -
Scotland reacted to TsuMirren in Cheesey - Offered A Deal At.....
He was just about to sign when someone said "Cornell will be behind you". At which point, he started sweating and could be heard muttering "come for it, come for it" whilst rocking back and forth in his chair.
I suppose this also means his dad is still waiting to find out which club he's investing in next.

Good.....surely we can win on Saturday when we will most likely be playing against ten men for at least some part of the Match.

Scotland reacted to Drew in Trialists Update
Ah well, another Wee Tam whose departure was overdue.
In saying that, I'll miss his cheeky chappy, carefree antics during HT warm-up. I like seeing the young lads enjoying themselves.

Offered a deal at Oldham Athletic. All the best to the St. Mirren legend. Great level of football in England to test himself at.

Scotland reacted to Scots_Symposium in Trialists
An interesting first 11 in Inverness yesterday, the Great Dane aside, youthful International trialists formerly of fine clubs.
Also, brief glimpses of Murray's style of play: fast attacking and passing.
