Was writing the date today and got a sudden flashback to the game. I was only 14, but it's still a day only surpassed by the birth of my kids(and my wedding, if my wife ever reads this).
My memory is usually terrible, but I can remember it all vividly. League cup win was absolutely incredible, but 87 just edges it for me. It just seemed bigger, although not as good a game. It might be because I still lived in Paisley in 87 and got more of the build up and mayhem after it.
Apart from the obvious ,Fergie's goal, the memory of Utd's disallowed goal is like yesterday. The sickly feeling in my guts when they scored, then the wild celebrations when we eventually realised it was chalked off. The final whistle, the music and Aber lifting the cup. The walk up to the town hall with all my mates and family, carrying a Saint's flag and getting a toot from every passing car. What a day!

Great day ,better than 2013 IMO ,wonder what happened to all those fans? Maybe a 26 year hibernation?.

Killie down, Ayr up would make for another good derby game in the division. Already got the Renfrewshire and a Fife Derby.

What a most enjoyable afternoon. As end of season games go that was up there. A last minute equaliser against a taunting away support who outnumbered us. Pleasing!
Good send off for the cup winning legends. Will be a very long time before we see player's of the ilk of Goodwin and Thompson getting such a send off. :-(

Worst view of any Stadium behind the Goal. Although standing there in April 2000 was magnificent.

I would like Ayr as quite simply, it's the best away day in Scottish football.

Agree with most of that . Would prefer Hibs to go up though .

What is obvious from the feedback is that there are very passionate feelings about reserved seats and much as I don't get it and think it would easily be overcome, I firmly believe that you need to listen to your existing "customers" and build upon their loyalty.
Personally, I'd make all season tickets stand specific and not seat specific... Giving everyone the chance to sit in their existing prefered seat or area... but the ability to bring friends along and sit next to them at will and hence building our support..
Since feeling are so strong though, could it be trialed in specific areas of each stand?
If it was put to you as a proposal from the club which would enable them to generate additional income, what would it take for you to move from a specific reserved seat to a reserved seat in another area?
