I'm not really convinced there is a great deal of difference in their records (11th, 10th, 11th, 10th) vs. (11th, 8th, 11th, 11th) in the league.
Both took the team to 1 League Cup Final. Macpherson's team lost 1-0 to the team that won the SPL that year, Lennon's team beat a Hearts team who finished 10th in the SPL.
In my opinion the year we finished 8th, we played as well in the SPL as I've ever seen us play, and winning the League Cup final was great.
But over the course of the 4 years, and with all the advantages Lennon has had (training ground, Teale, Thompson) I don't see how you can say Lennon's significantly improved the team since he took over from McPherson.

I don't see how the team or Danny can get much credit for being 21 points ahead of Hearts team, 15 points of which is accounted for by a points deduction and the remaining 6 by the fact they have been forced to play their U20 team for the whole season.
A just punishment for Hearts....definitely. But I don't think it can be used to justify the rubbish we've been watching week in, week out for the duration of this season.

Newton played very well in that role today. Deserves credit. I don't understand why he's not played in that position more often.
I think it was a good call by Danny to play Newton ahead of DD today. We had a bit of extra pace in midfield which kept Erememko quiet. Well thought out team selection today

Finally calmed down enough to watch Sportscene without smashing the telly.
I thought Thommo did a great job of defending Goodwin in difficult circumstances. Any criticism of Thompson is completely unjustified.
Jonathan Sutherland and especially Pat Nevin, on the other hand, should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Concocting a hatchet job on a professional player on the basis of the flimsy evidence of that footage is nothing short of a disgrace.
Grasping at straws to try and make a story out of nothing. It's about time they started bringing disrepute charges into the Scottish game and Sutherland Nevin and especially Adams should all be in the dock.
Derek Adams attempts to get Goodwin suspended and consequently disadvantage a rival team, are simply cheating pure and simple. If that's not bringing the game into disrepute I don't know what is.

Over the three games we have played against County they have committed more fouls (49 vs. 38) had more yellows (4 vs. 3) and more red cards (2 vs. 0).
Picking on an individual player from a rival team in this manner, is basically cheating. The SFA should ban mangers from doing this.

It's simply not good enough.
We were awful at the end of last season and we haven't got any better this season.
Danny has had two unbelievably bad transfer windows since and buried his head in the sand during preseason which ended in a calamitous start to the league campaign.
Whether we avoid the playoffs or not, if I was running the club I would have to see that Danny has a clear plan of how he's going to get the
team out of this mess.
Otherwise time to call it a day.

I'm certainly not convinced about Levein.
I think we score few enough goals without switching to a 4-6-0 formation.
