zebrakid reacted to fan4ever in Silly Talk
I am a female St Mirren fan but can I just say that the tittle tattle on here between grown men and women is ridiculous. It is really stupid talk and not about St Mirren. Grow up and be men please and stick to talking about St Mirren and not about spelling mistakes made by some, full stops in sentences or in other words grammar or slagging people for opinions to such an extent that it is verbal bullying. I don't agree with everyone either but I don't stoop so low as to belittle someone with such nasty nasty words. You don't know who you are replying to it could be a child or an elderly person but you are replying to a person.
So come on guys stick to what the forum is about St Mirren

Haven't they been through enough in recent weeks. Imagine having to share a stage with that insufferable c**t Bono...

Better to ask, why the f**k they need knighthoods, at all?
They should be like most people who are knighted - pay a political party sufficient money. There's a brutal honesty about that.
Better still, if we can bring ourselves to purge the morally dubious honours system, then we could be a country that recognises its true heroes - IE those who selflessly contribute towards its general good.

He hasn't alienated me with his comments
He has by the way he sets out our team, the way we play and having no tactical nous
He has produced the worst St Mirren i have ever seen
I'm struggling to believe he actually thinks it's acceptable
What is Miller doing, the players have they no professional pride.
I have witnessed players unable to pass to each other or make themselves available for a pass
What do they do at Ralston apart from injuring each other
Fitness levels shocking
Murray has given up and awaiting his pay off but the players should ask themselves i'm better than this and do something about it

Murray is hugely overpaid for playing a boring niche game that he enjoys and is quite good at.
Apart from the fact that I think he is sufficiently moral to knock back all such blandishments from the establishment, what has he done that is better than Jocky Wilson or the Scottish snooker players?
Or the boolers or curlers...?
Such people get rewarded for being gifted or lucky at playing games. They are honoured simply by their country selecting them as representatives of their sports. They shouldn't need baubles.

As above sandpaper should be enough to sort the problem, also check that screws on hinges are tight, it dosen't take much for the door to drop if they become loose

Miller hasn't been there long enough to learn the players names never mind have any influence on them. A bit of perspective please.

Chicken & Egg at home.
The fans will respond and react to what they see happening on the pitch. I've witnessed noise in the West Stand that was deafening when we beat Celtic 4-0, knocked them out the Scottish Cup and beat Rangers on Xmas Eve. The stadium is often criticised for causing the poor atmosphere but the reality is that it's what's happening on the park that is the root cause.
The fans at home CAN be unreasonable though. There are individuals who we all hear every home game who go out their way to be negative and who simply can't wait to berate our own team. That has been true for all the years I've been supporting Saints, and I guess it's most likely true of every club in the land.
I've never really understood it, but i actually think some of our fans ENJOY being negative. I guess it's their outlet after a shite week at work or whatever.

Aye that's right, it's the customers fault. Not only are they expected to blindly handover large sums of money for an inferior product they are also supposed to sing, dance and look happy about it at all times too. What a load of shite!
I was at the Livingston game at Almondvale where a bunch of St Mirren fans sung all afternoon. I have to say it was one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. The team gives away a penalty.....fans keep on singing. The teams playing shite.....fans keep on singing. Team scores and takes the lead.....fans keep on singing. Team can't keep possession and Livingston dominate the final stages of the match.....fans keep on singing. And amongst their song playlist "We're St Mirren, the mighty St Mirren, we only win away", and a whole load of songs trying to get people they knew in the support to wave at them. It was almost like none of them gave a shite about the match itself. That IMO is not supporting the team, it's more about trying to get attention from others at the match.
Let the play on the park take the lead. If the players are crunching into tackles, clearly giving everything they have and competing in matches then the customers will show their appreciation. Put in the same large periods of lacklustre incompetent pish as they have been doing for the last few seasons.....they deserve all the abuse they get from a customer base that feels entirely ripped off week in week out.
