I have been disappointed to see certain players leave the club but players move on for many different reasons. We thank them if they are successful which Cammy was. We move on as a club.

Me personally I’m am excited about who we are going to bring in and watching them playing for St Mirren. I have faith in the management team to have a successful transfer window

So far we have the word of a few random Romanian in laws and co workers plus some cod interpretation of UEFA coefficients. Only Saints fans could doubt a guy before any of us have ever seen him kick a ball. We sign guys from 6th tier English leagues, we moan. We sign guys from top tier Romanian league, we moan. Every signing is a risk especially in our current predicament. It would be impossible to sign a squad full of players proven in this league so we have to play in the markets we can. We need a good few more bodies, I would expect they are more likely to be from sources more akin to Popescu than Tansey, that's just the way it is unfortunately.

Can’t remember everyone that has been moved on but other than Hammil & Jones which I was a little sad to see leave the others I couldn’t care less about.

Also, can we all now put this ridiculous notion to bed that those in charge of the club are doing anything other than bursting their arses working to find us players to improve the squad and that by not signing everyone who flashes a bit of leg by the stroke of midnight on the bells, we are somehow missing out on untold quality?
One read at OK's piece in the Tansey article shows that he's someone they've been in touch with on several occasions, he's a player they've known they've wanted and it's simply been a waiting game to get their man. This is going to be the case time and time again this month.

You could argue that Cammy Smith has played the best football of his career with us, after failing to really set the heather on fire at Aberdeen or on loan at Dundee Utd.
Andy Dorman didn't really do an awful lot with his career other than in the purple patch he had with us.
Junior Mendes was terrific for us either side of a terrible spell at Dunfermline.

Brown is still a very good player.He plays the Panto Villain and the audience react. I'm sure that those who abuse him secretly like him.

Of course, rather than writing about a poisonous dressing room, he could have written about a manager coming in and showing zero respect to a group of players who took us from the brink of League One to the Premiership, took morale to an all time low, brought in sub standard players and appointed a bellend as first team coach. That might be slightly closer to the truth. 
I have nothing against Stubbs, but the only person who sabotaged his chances of being a success was himself. 

Only read the opening thread. If a fan was stuck and I'm not using the season ticket why not ? Have sent it out by post a few good times over the years and it's always been sent back. Same with a lift in the car if I'm going and a fan is stuck for a lift why not ? Saints fans are family we are a family club. 

Aye, we have been (nearly) united for 4 or 5 days. I suppose it was very optimistic to expect it to continue beyond that.
It will be interesting to hear a bit more about what this role consists of, and what GMac has to say about it should he be appointed.

Gutted to lose Oran as our manager, gentleman and very mart man, I really hope he does well for your club,  group of us are wishing to come over and see him manage a game, how would we get some tickets.
 
I believe Oran took the boat over this morning, he took training last night and told the players he is taking the St Mirren job.

This lot seem pretty sure its a done deal.
