Having my usual laugh here reading posts when something new happens at St Mirren...........
Thank God Oran started with a point against the current Champions I can only imagine these posts had any negative result happened (in truth most expected nothing less)
So to judge harshly the appointment of Gus" who I sincerely believe Oran had some say in the final appointment" before he's even back baffles me "actually no this is oor forum pages so it doesn't baffle me lol"
Anyway to my point of unification....................Lets agree to put our points of differences to the side and get behind Oran and the team that "HE" will put on the pitch and wish him and his coaching and management team every success.
Have lived and breathed this club for many years and have known more downs that ups
All I can say is get used to it.... it's who we are... but I've always believed we are and have been capable of more that dream has never faded
Might be presumptive but I really think we've turned a corner ...I Think we will Be OK

Four posts in total.

Totally agree.... it's not like the majority of us haven't been through this many many many times before.... whatever happens the diehard Buds will stick with the team painful as it may be.
Let's get behind the team on the park and whoever is on the bench.
I know I'm not there at the ground each week but trust me the joy and pain of being a loyal Buds fan is still is the same
I feel yer pain but ktf WE ARE ST MIRREN it's who we are and what we do "just saying"
a wee win would help so pleeeaaaseee this sat....... and when I say kick ass a 1 Nil win would qualify

We will get who we get.
Either way, when this window shuts, we need to drop the agendas, reset our expectations and get behind the team if we want to help them turn the corner. We dont want to make things any harder for the team than it already is.
If we are relegated, then we are relegated but FFS surely we dont want to say that we buckled at the first sign of trouble? We cant criticise the team for not showing bottle and then have 34 more weeks of the sort of knicker wetting pish we've seen on the forum this week.
As for Stubbs, let Gordon deal with that. Let us concentrate on giving the team our full support.
Show some f**king dignity and class.

If you criticise anything you're a Stubbs hater, if you praise anything you're a happy clapper and if you make a reasoned argument then your post is too long and you've bored people, it's bloody hard to be a contributer to this forum.

south_seas_saint reacted to OorStevie247 in Well done to the Club for the new kits!! Courtesy of my son.
My son absolutely loves the new away kit for the new season and he thinks it’s the best shirt he’s seen for the team he is mad on, even being down in England with all the big premier league teams he could follow!
He is looking forward to getting it with his pocket money he is saving and he said he looks forward to wearing it to football training at school as a boy there is a mad Celtic fan.
In my sons exact words:
”Dad I can’t wait to show off my new shirt at football especially to show off to (no names mentioned)” basically the Celtic fan. He went on to say “When I see him Dad I’m gonna tell him this is what a proper away kit looks like well designed and well made, and worth every penny, not like the tat he wears from the Celtic shop!”
He has a very proud Mum who is the reason he supports St Mirren!
Thanks for giving my son bragging rights, as even if Celtic do Saints over he still thinks he wins as it’s a better shirt!! How a 9 year old kids mind works. LOL
