beyond our ken got a reaction from norrie82 in Welcome Eamonn Brophy
Robinson clearly has some issues here, the turning point for us yesterday was Shaughnessy coming on and i am completely confused as to how losing Gogic from midfield seems an exceptional option for the manager when Shaughnessy is available for central defence. He should have started and could have been on as soon as Rudden appeared. I consider the mistakes made by the manager were the factors that stopped us from easily winning yesterday
There must be someone at county who can deliver a decent final ball and that is enabling Brophy. Our only decent final ball was the one Shaughnessy delivered for the goal.
Have Brophy and Big Joe done something to upset our manager? Big Joe hasn't been in the picture since he said he wanted to go back home.

Why would it be good to keep Watt? He does a few things well, one thing he doesn't do is score.

With what? the "broad shoulders" ofthe UK? The massive back-up for scottish hopes that Starmer and Sunak (Stunak?) represent.
When you look at the initiatives that have been carried forward in her time, and even in Salmond's, that were always promised, launched, repromised and re-launched by the previous admisntrations, you realise the value of someone of her stature.

He left under a cloud after winding up Alex Miller over wages but was still not as badly treated here as he was at Rangers, that nice man Walter told the press he was sacked before he told Billy.

Humza declares his candidacy. As a pro-independent thinking person and strong supporter of the SNP I can happily say that I will not vote for them if he wins and for as long as he may be leader.
A car-crash as in his health job, he also harassed a family I know and used his influence to try and hurt them massively. An odious man who does not deserve to represent Scotland.
I'd even take the wee free, but would prefer Ash Regan. it's a shame the timing would prevent John Nicolson from getting a holyrood seat and coming forward.

A fragile lead
i,ll take it as a final result but the the score line doesn’t reflect the dominant performance and that will continue to cause concern

I'm sure that Shaughnessy will be back when ready. There is no point playing him if he still has effects of hin injury to deal with. i guess that if we had more players in the squad then he wouldn't even be on the bench

Final ball
our failing since the departure of Danny Lennon
we are reknowned for the inability to score and some passable forwards have come and gone with our club being the blemish on their record
to me, Robinson is a Gus McPherson clone who can make a team competitive for a while but eventually incredibly easy to read
the pool available is not very substantial, which doesn’t help the manager

Tony was OK within the original limits of his role and he was never equipped to do the job that Brian Caldwell did. Collectively, the board should have been offering the support he needed to discharge the role when it came to asset management and development.

Point 1, there are several other contributors to this forum who know what i do for a living and where i work
Point 2 , even building a small extension to a house is best managed by a project manager

the fundamentals of project management are BROADLY the same in most areas. You can become skilled in the process of managing projects but that doesn't necessarily equip you with the specific knowledge needed to deliver a safe and sustainable project in certain areas. Construction IS a specialist area and since this project necessitated the development of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment and a H&S plan that covered design, construction and commissioning of the site, co-ordination of lifting operations, scaffolding, traffic management, ensuring the competence of those involved, fulfilling the legal requirement to provide operational capability, discharging or making the correct appointments to key legally required roles such as PC, PD and acting as client, some dismantlement that equates to demolition, the preparatation of a site, the erection of new facilities and their connections to the services, the testing, commissioning and sign-off of these services, safe and ethical disposal of waste as well as obtaining the necessary permits, certificates and changes to deeds and leases then it is clear that someone who is competent in the area of construction is a legally required appointment. As the HSE says, a construction project is about more than just a site. a project manager who had never managed or supported a construction project would not be sufficiently qualified under law to assess the risks that the structure introduces during any part of the life-cycle of the building and it would certainly not be in the competence of anyone other than an experienced construction professional to compile, check and hand over to the end user a fully populated health and safety file.
Just as a starter, any twat with laptop, including me, could have told you that a simple single story structure would have a base cost between £800-£1200 pounds per square metre for permitted development (which the training complex would not have been). The very idea that someone would quote £80,000 for a project that would have cost a minimum of £120,000 in 2019 prices should have sent the client running for the hills. The fact that the project cost more than 3 times that suggests to me that this went back to the drawing board and re-started at least once.
