It's all okay - they're getting a new bus, and the (service) history of the old bus is being transferred to the new bus, so really the new bus is just the same bus as the old bus....

If a 'lesser' player had won the Scottish Open, then maybe a back-to-back with the big one would be unlikely, but Mickelson is a big contender for the Open no matter where he finished at Castle Stewart. Who cares though? The weekend's big golf news is that I was in St Andrews on Sunday and bought a brand new Taylor Made RBZ Stage 2 driver and 3 wood for less than internet prices. A wee bit of strategic Monty Python-esque haggling and bob's yer' auntie.
The clubs are brilliant, unfortunately the person using them is a twat. Still... If I put in 10000 hours of practice with them!

I found AA tyres online to be cheapest by far with them arranging fitting with Budget at Incle St.
also got next day fitting, so good service a big saving compared to going to Budget, or whatever it's called, directly.

I've not bought a new tyre for some time, but I've always found Alan Dean's place in Lacey street really reasonable & helpful - with the added bonus that he's a Saints fan.
I think he's retired now, but AFAIK he still owns the place.

Haha, pretty much sums up the rounds!!
And Drew - indeed, you definitely shouldn't think of yourself as shite. Golf isn't an easy game to pick up, I think I perhaps take it for granted since I started playing when I was about 8, but there really is a lot to try to take on board and practice before you can gain any sort of consistency. The positives though, are that as you are no doubt realising, you can really begin to see your own improvements with that little bit of practice, and it's a game that you can take up at any age as long as you're able to walk a couple of miles. Keep it up!

No problem. I've played twice over the last couple of weeks with Zurich Allan fae' the forum. We both play off 12 handicaps - I would say we're exactly the same standard of player, and our games were very enjoyable.
We moaned like fcuk about St Mirren for the entire round though!

What's the protocol while stationary at traffic lights?...
Pick your nose. Scratch your nuts. Eye up the talent on the pavement. Have a fly look at the phone for text messages. Turn the volume on the stereo up or down. Lights turn to green - drive off.
    Just saying like.

Who knows? I hate it - it is just like starting the car up outside the house every time you stop and start. Pain in the arse, even though it could save me 5p every 100,000 miles. I already save more than that by driving at a consistent 56mph on my most common journey - flicking the vicky at every scummy 50mph sign along the way.

I hope the OP saw my exhibit in the museum with my name on the wee plaque next to it! Means I have an exhibitor's pass which gets free entry to both the museum and tour anytime.
The exhibit? A genuine match ticket from the 1971 Celtic v Feyenoord European Cup Final at the San Siro. The tickets are rare because no match programme was produced for the final. The tickets were impregnated with human hair from barber shops, as an anti-fraud device.
That's why I meet up with my mate at Hampden a lot! The museum also has a copy of the Final Chapter, signed on the cover by the chairman, captain, manager and assistant manager of St Mirren at the time of the stadium move, but it isn't on display.

I did really enjoy the tour when I did it, would likely go again if I had friends or relatives staying who aren't local. If for nothing else then to play 'chap door run away' multiple times on Neil Doncaster's office door...

Would have been funnier if she hadn't noticed, and just bought and paid for all your stuff while you stood there gobsmacked, realising you were going to have to go back round the shop again!

Some stupid b*tch nearly ran me over in there just before Christmas at the wee bit you're talking about when you turn right. I was walking back to my car, which was parked in one of those spaces, and another one a car space down was empty, though tight as the car next to it was on the line. This woman went to go into the space forward, then appeared to change her mind (it looked like she thought better of it and started to drive on). As she drove on I walked behind her car (she hadn't indicated), before she slammed on the brakes and immediately started to reverse (without checking her mirrors). So obviously she had actually changed her mind and decided to reverse in.
Clearly I was supposed to be a mind reader - as I say, it was very much a speed, turn in, change mind charge forward, slam on brake and reverse in, driven in quite an aggressive manner - no indication throughout. As she swooped toward me I had to jump back to avoid my impending death, and said out loud "Jesus Christ" - at which point she threw open her door and proceeded to shout abuse at me, asking if there was a problem. I calmly said back, without raising my voice, "well apart from you nearly knocking me over by driving so aggressively, without indicating and clearly without checking your mirrors, no, not really...". She continued to give me abuse at which point I just shook my head, made the short walk to my car and thought "Merry bloody Christmas!"

This Car Park has a one way system which i've used correctly in the last two evenings.
I drive past the Main Entrance, towards the parking spaces, then take a first right into the one way system, going the correct direction according to the road markings.
Why,on the last 2 times have i met vehicles coming towards me with drivers completely ignoring the system in operation. and they look at me as if i've committed a major sin.
Dae road rules not apply in Supermarket Car Parks ?
