Darlington V St Mirren

Of course Dorman will [if he is indeed seriously injured] be a big miss for us, but could you all stop wetting your knickers until we find out the full extent of his injury?

People who have been carried off on stretchers have been known to recover from the intial injury and play in the next game.

Let's hope this is the case with Dorman and Dargo [if he's injured too].

Yep. Players have been stretchered to the touchline and walked down the tunnel in the past. Maybe the St John's Ambulance folks (or whoever they might be) daahn saff are more inclined to bring the stretcher on as a precaution. Who knows. As you say, we'll just have to wait and see and try to avoid writing the first quarter of the season off just yet.

FWIW, losing Dorman and Dargo for a period would be a big worry, but sitting here wringing our hands about it in a Mavis Reilly stylee ain't going to help.

Norrie on Feeshul Says,

I've got pictures of Andy Dorman being stretchered off (I don't think it is apt to put them online) and while it is hard to tell from a picture it does looks as if he is out cold.

All his limbs appear to have no kind of covering or protection on them - so while this is just wild speculation it may be something like concussion?

Heard nothing about Dargo
